the return of the Lil bri…

oh, what fun it is to blog in a one-horse soap and slay:)

“notorious rbg” – for all you judge-wannabe’s – a book about one of the supreme court justices – written by two of her biggest fans – they developed a twitter handle for her too – a truly creative, neat book that’s very accessible for young adults – but not strictly for them – well done – i enjoyed it – i always like reading about the law – it makes me feel smarter

“pedro” – the typical sports biography – the whiny tale of an athlete who feels slighted by everyone – and so much tell the story of why he was always misunderstood – his side of the story – very little personal info – much like reading stat lines – it wasn’t that good – BUT it was about boston so it works:)

“scary close” – book on letting people into your life – and why we don’t sometimes – there were parts that were really, really good – overall, very good

  1. Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank Book Review

Diary of a Young Girl is a book about the perspective of Anne Frank on World War ll. The Franks, along with another family, the Van Daans, hide in order to avoid capture during the German occupation of Holland. Anne and the others spend two years in the secret annex. The secret annex was an warehouse with several rooms of Anne’s dad business. Anne deal with problems like thinking her parents are annoying which they are not they are just trying to protect her. Her diary is historical, because it explain some of the events in World War ll.

I think this book is meant for middle schools as they study World War ll. This book tell about all the harmful stuff the Nazis did to the Jewish families. I think it is a very interesting book for middle school students to read but anyone can read it who is interested in World War ll

  2. Book Review
I read the book Divergent. The story is about a teenage girl, Beatrice, learning that she’s divergent during the Aptitude test. Most Divergents have an aptitude for two factions but she has three. Her choices are Erudite, Abnegation, or Dauntless. She chooses dauntless and the rest is her settling into the dauntless faction and proving her worth. As always, there’s a romance between her and a born dauntless.
    – But overall I liked the book, a lot. If I could change anything about the book, it’d be Eric. I WOULD recommend this book to another person and I rate it 5 out of 5.
