wow! i count up five full weeks of school left – so can’t be more than four more blogs, maybe less…
“eat this book” by eugene peterson – about how to read the Bible – like about the fourth-ish book i’ve read in the series that he did about the words of Christ – as was the case with the other three books, i enjoyed the book thoroughly – in this volume, what i found most interesting was about translation – how translations come to us and what we do with them – he talked about how the Bible was written, for the most part, in very common language – there wasn’t a newly-invented vocabularly that the writers used, and most of the words describe very common, ordinary things
“the grim grotto” – book 11 in unfortunate events – the baudelaires go underwater in this episode – ironically enough, i read the book saturday while most of alabama was under water… 🙂 i enjoyed most the captain and his motto that “he who hesitates is lost” – rather absurd – a good running motto though…
additionally, there was a good article about exercise in the ny times magazine (run now, benefit later), a rather disturbing article about cell phones and their harmful radiation, and i’m now into late 1 corinthians in my quest to finish the new testament

I am going to describe the plot of the book the fall in the seventh tower series. Tal has just found out that his father is missing, presumably dead. Unfortunately, his father is the only one possessing a Primary Sunstone. Without it, Tal’s family will not be able to enter the spirit world of Aenir. This is troubling for the family in two ways; first, Tal, who has reached the proper age, would not be able to bind himself a Spiritshadow, and would thus be doomed as an Underfolk, a servant of the Castle; secondly, his mother is very ill, and Tal believes the cure may be found in Aenir. He knows that he must find a Sunstone, and tries to obtain one in three different ways. The first way is asking one from his cruel aunts. Upon asking, Tal meets Shadowmaster Sushin, who, like his aunts, wish to make his and his family’s life more miserable than it is. This puzzles Tal, since Sushin is a stranger to him.
His aunts refuse to give one of their multiple Sunstones, so Tal has to depend on his next plan, which is by winning a Chosen competition among the Achievements of Luminosity. He enters the Achievement of Body category, but finds out at the last minute that somehow he had been “registered” for the wrong category. His name was written on the Achievement of Music roster. Without a piece to play, he runs down to find his great-uncle Ebbitt, who gives him a piece to perform. Upon entering the contest, he finds, much to his horror, that Sushin is one of the three judges. He performs the piece quite well, but is given the Yellow Ray of Failed Ambition, meaning he tried too hard. He does not win a Sunstone.
The third way is by asking one from the Empress of the castle. The guards of the Empress makes a deal with his, asking him to play a game called ‘Beastmaker’. If Tal wins, he may enter. If Tal loses, he will give up his Sunstone. They play the game, and just as it appears that Tal will win, Sharrakor, who he knows as the Empress’s Spiritshadow, viciously stops the game. The frightened guards force him to leave.

Hey everybody! I’m reading Maximum Ride which is a great series that I wish more people would read.Anyways I’m going to do 2 blogs.
Monday-It starts out with Max running though the forest. She is running away from Erasers which are half humann half wolves which missions are to search and destroy. Right now she is being chased after and is running away from ‘The School’. The name is actually The School. At The School they where locked up and experimented on by evil scientists. She has a secret power too which you will find out later. So shes running as fast as she can away from the Erasers. Shes looking for an opening so she can use her ‘power’. She gets to an opening but at the bottom is a trench. she stands at the edge and looks down.
Tuesday- She stares down then lets herself fall! While she soaring down, with all her might she releases he 15 feet long wings. Shes pushed up and takes flight. When she gets to the top of the cliff she stares at the Erasers howling at her. She wakes up with a jerk and realizes it is a dream. She is actually away from the school and lives with her 5 family members:Fang,Iggy,Nudge,The Gasman, and Angel.
I am reading Big Fish by Daniel Wallace.
Right now in Big Fish, the fictional main character, son of Edward Bloom, William Bloom tells about his father’s death and tells that his father can see visions of when people will die. A little disturbing but cool. He tells examples of when his grandfather and his aunt die he saw them dying in his dreams the night before. He also tells of when his dad died and when he is going to die. this is one of the coolest stories in the book so far.

I am now going to blog about the book Aenir because Aenir is a much better book than the book Castle. After arriving in aenir they offer up blood on the hill they are standing on. This summons up two storm shepherds, aenirian creatures with a heart of thunder and cloud, who then demand a life in exchange for a great gift. Soon the two characters discover that the two shepherds to not like taking lives, but only do it because they were bound thousands of years ago to do that exact task ever more. When they do not take a life and hesitate when Tal offers to make them his and Milla’s spirit shadow shadows to release their bind on the hill, the spirit in the hill awakes to sort out the problem. Afraid, the two creatures accept Tal’s offer and quickly grab their new chosen and escape the hill, exhilarated to finally be free. Tal’s spirit shadow is Adras, a big but dim witted male. While Milla’s end up with Odris, a more sharp witted slender female. Neither is very good at reading human emotions and find themselves confused quite often.
When Milla realises that Tal’s offer has removed her shadow, she flies into a rage. Tal gets angry at her because he does not fully understand that when he gave away her true shadow, he destroyed her hopes of being a shield maiden, as they are sworn to destroy all spiritshadows, and cannot possibly have one themselves. Going berserk Milla first threatens him with her merlin horn sword before putting it away and knocking him unconscious. She then storms off by herself, Adras and Odris have a small talk about the rather over reactions of humans before deciding that Odris should probably go with Milla to make sure she doesn’t get hurt. Adras turns into a thunder cloud and surrounds Tal, protecting him while he is asleep.
Milla ends up at the edge of a burnt field, she calms down and starts to head back to Tal when she realises there is something underneath her, a quick glance shows that she is on the only patch of green grass in the area. She then jumps just in time as the creature, called a hugthing snaps shut, clasping her legs together. With her hands free she hacks at the hugthing with her sword, but it just bounces off. Just as her ribs are about to break Odris appears in the sky and hurls lighting bolts at the creature. it lets go and runs away making scared noises. She and Milla walk together through the trees when they run into a pack of giant hunting birds, the pact gives chase and the pair are chased to a giant wood trunk tower where Odris lands on top. Milla takes the stairs to the bottom floor and can’t explain why the door is wide open but the birds, called nanuchs remain content to remain outside and wait for them to come out.
Mean while Tal is waking up and soon finds a pack of bugs making a sign in the ground with their bodies, an arrow pointing east and the letter c. This is because the codex, trapped under a mountain years before, is trying to communicate Tal towards his prison by taking over animal level intelligence creatures

Hey I’m going to do one blog today so here I go! I left off where Max was running away from the Erasers. She ran through the forest, and she was running away from the School where evil scientists did other experiments on people. She was running then jumped off a cliff. When she was at the middle of the cliff she started to fly. This is the secret power she has. She then wakes up from her dream and introduces her family:Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel. She lives in a house on top of a hill by them selves with no adults, no school, and rules. She had a parent when they first moved there but he died. She went to the table and prepared some juice. Gasman comes in who is 8 years old. He actually has a gas problem. Iggy comes in and says he is going to make eggs. Iggy is blind but acts like he can see. Fang came in, he was part Eraser. then she goes to wake up Nudge who is a selfcentered brat. After, she wakes up Angel who is her favorite. She can read minds. So this is her whole family.

Mon.- Last week I left off where they had just left the hospital. So they find out a little bit about each other. Sam is a werewolf, of course. Grace’s parents don’t know much about her, and they don’t spend any time with her. Her mom is a painter and her dad is a real estate agent. (I think) So that night Sam sleeps in the floor in Grace’s room. Then in the middle of the night she tells him he can sleep with her. This next part is probably the funniest part of the book….

Okay, so Sam freaks out and he’s like no way! So then Grace says he’ll get a sore neck and it’ll be cold. So Sam gets in and he like scoots to the very edge and almost falls off. All Grace says is ‘I’m going to trust you not to hog the covers.’ It was pretty funny.
Wed.- So of course Grace still has to go to school. Sam drives her to school and her friend hops in the car and is like ‘Hey Grace, who’d this boy?” ‘Hi boy!’ so she has to explain to Grace that she drank a lot of coffee. So Grace has to go to school and everything so I’m going to skip to where the story isn’t boring and about school.
Thurs.- Grace finds out about Sam’s past. When he was like eight his now-adoptive-father bit him when he got off the school bus. Of course he wasn’t just like a person, he was in wolf form when he bit him. (It’d be weird if this random guy came up and bit you when you got off the school bus) So then Sam starts turning into a wolf during the winter and his parents get scared because his mom watches him change. Then, when he was back in human form his parents tried to kill him. They cut his wrist and held him under water, it said on the news he was killed, but since he’s a wolf he really wasn’t. So, yeah.

Well in Big Fish I am reading the story of Edward Bloom and Specter. A little town somewhere in Alabama, Mississippi, or Georgia. He doesn’t say which. In Specter he falls in love with the town and decides he needs to have it all. So he buys the whole town including all the stores and all the homes. Nothing changes the owners don’t have to even pay rent. He finds out about this other neatly manicured house in a swamp of all places. The girl who lives there falls in love with him and he falls in love with her. This is all I have read today.

In the book Rachel admits to many faults, to being too wrapped up in her work to spend time with people, much less her troubled and troubling sister. Rachel decides to go with her sister on the buses for a whole year, scrunched between daily commitments to write, teaching and planning events at a bookstore, in order to grow closer to Beth but also to dissolve her guilt at being a bad sister. And she rememebers the day her dad asked her,herbrother,and sister to one of them take custody of their 20 year old sister so she doesnt have to live on her own,but “being too busy” they all said no. Though Rachel and Beth played together when they were young, their conversations have become forced and uncomfortable — until Rachel agrees to ride the buses.
Monday-
I am reading a NEW Sparks book, called the lucky one. The author’s purpose of this book is to entertain, 🙂 He does this by relating with his audience. He sets the book in a small country town, he talks about Iraq, the army, and small town habits, like sun bathing. But to keep his audience interested by adding an edge to it, a search. Thibaughlt is trying to find the woman in the picture, and in chapter 3 it is changed to the POV of a woman named Beth that hasn’t been mentioned in the story yet, which makes you wonder what connection these two will have, (:
Tuesday-
I am going to compare The Lucky One and The Rescue. Well, both have the same author, so they have the same lanuage, and the same styles. Both have single women with sons in them, and both have men with bad dating experiences in their past. Both men fit the profile of “The Perfect Man”. One is a firefighter, and the other is a Marine, just out of Iraq. The problem is, they both have past experiences, one being a military brat, and the other lost his dad when he was 9, and it has affected his relationships for the rest of his life.
Wednesday-
This is related to the class theme of conflict because Thibaughlt is facing a really big PROBLEM. He found this picture, and somehow it gave him amazing luck, so now he is on this cross country search for the woman in the picture, he traveled from Denver, Colorado (hitchiking, I may add) to Hampton, North Carolina. With his dog.
Thursday-
The book starts out in the point of view of a police officer that finds Thibaughlt in the woods, and thinks he is suspicious. Little does the officer know that Thighbault saw him taking pictures of local nude coeds tanning on one of the small beaches, so Thibaughlt steals his camera, slashes his tires, then hitches a ride with the coeds, and gives them the camera, only to leave and continue his journey. Then we flash to Beth, she is a single mother, trying to take care of her son, and her grandmother, who has taken care of her since she was 3. Her and her ex have joint custody, and her son doesn’t want to go, and he’s mad at her. Which is as far as I’ve gotten, so that’s all for this week, folks (:
This Week. I am reading The Lucky One, yet another of Nicholas Sparks. So, right now I am in the part where Keith Clayton was walking in the woods, and watched the coeds sunbathe. He is a kind of a pervert to me, and he tries to play it off to them that he didn’t mean to. That he was patroling the road, and saw them. He took pictures of them. Creepy much? I think so. He has a collection. Oh most definetly a pervert. But that is just Clayton’s part. Logan Thibault, the soldier that just got back and is looking for the girl in the picture he found in the sand in Iraq. It is a picture of a girl at the fair. She is pretty, and somehow he is attracted to the picture, he wants to find the girl. The picture has a sign in the background that says Hampton County Fair. He hiked to Hampton. He averages about 20 miles a day. He has a dog named Zeus. When it rains he stops, when he is hungry he stops and eats. He hasn’t really talked to anyone since he left. He just keeps going. Now the next character is, Elizabeth. She owns a dog care store. And is a divorced mother with a son. She lives with her grandmother. The weird thing is that all of these characters connect. Beth and Keith were married, they had a son named Ben. Logan and Keith meet as Logan Thibault is hiking. He automatically doesn’t like him, Keith thinks that Logan is shady. And Logan thinks that Keith is a creeper. Logan meets Beth when he eventually gets to Hampton. Also, the coeds who Keith was flirting with pick up Logan and give him a ride to Hampton. Also, Logan sees Keith taking pictures of the girls. Once Keith drops the camera he goes and gets it, knowing that Keith will get in trouble. Becuase he realizes that he is a bad person.That makes Keith really mad. See keith is a drunk, when he isn’t being a police officer. He is only a police officer because his uncle is a judge. He wants his son, Ben, to be all sports, macho. But Ben loves to read, and stays inside. He is the kid who wears glasses and isn’ that great at sports. That is part of the reason that Beth resents Keith, because he is a complete jerk. That is as far as I have gotten this week (:

so far i have read that when the elevator doors opened up then both of the cahills were running so hard that they blasted straight past it so amy stopped first then snached dan and dragged him to it then she pressed the L button
then they were standing in the elevator breathing really hard

Okay now for the fourth book of the seventh tower series, Above the veil( these books are a fast read for me but are very exciting and full of conflict). While the mysterious Shadowmaster Sushin eats his shrimps and orders seemingly higher ranked chosen around, Tal and Milla travel through the Castle’s depths, where they come across the Freefolk. The Freefolk are a group of the servant class Underfolk who possess a great hatred for all the Chosen, and who are determined to gain freedom for the other Underfolk.
They also meet Lector Jarnil, a famous teacher who had apparently been dead for several years. Tal and Milla learn more about the intricacies of Castle politics, including the fact that Sushin, apparently a mere Shadowmaster of the Orange, is actually the Dark Vizier of the Empress. He deals in the more unsavory matters (those best left in the dark) and can order anyone using the authority of the Empress. They also learn that the Veil is maintained by the seven Keystones which lie at the top of each of the seven towers.
Most of the Chosen have left the Castle due to the Day of Ascension. To prevent the Veil from failing, Tal, accompanied by the permanently angry Freefolk leader Crow, climb the Red Tower and defeat the deadly Keeper. (The huge serpent-like spiritshadow who caused Tal to fall the first time in The Fall). At the top of the tower, they have to solve a puzzle of tiles to prevent any alarms from ringing out. Eventually they reach the Red Keystone. Trapped inside it is Lokar, cousin of Lector Jarnil, and her Spiritshadow. The Keystones are unsealed every year for alignment and repair. At this time, someone was able to trap Lokar inside it by stealing her Sunstone. Tal takes the Keystone imprisoning Lokar. As Tal and Crow prepare to depart, they are assaulted by numerous unbound Spiritshadows. Tal is able to construct a miniature Veil in time to hide them, but accidentally binds Adras, his Spiritshadow, into it as well, leaving Adras severely weakened for lack of light. As they near the Freefolk base, Crow injures Tal and flees with the Keystone. Tal attempts to stop Crow with a blast of orange light energy, which causes the steam pipe in the room to explode. In the steam, Tal sees Ebbitt and several others enter the room, and the ceiling caves in. Lokar convinces Tal to go to Aenir and consult the Empress to free Lokar.
While Tal and Crow climb the tower, Milla returns to her home with Odris by traveling through the labryinth of underground tunnels that are below the Castle. On her way, she discovers the skeleton where her Primary Sunstone partially originated. Scrutinizing it closer, she notices a long Violet fingernail, which she puts on. Knowing that she will give herself to the Ice, she breathes the Tenth Pattern to assure the completion of her task of getting a Primary Sunstone. On her way, she is attacked by Arla and a band of Shield Maidens for bringing Odris. Milla accidentally kills Arla with her talon. She is then judged by the Crones, who will decide her fate. After reviewing Milla’s thoughts and dreams, the Crones debate and decide to attack the Castle to stop the Spiritshadow trade and save the Veil. The Crones choose Milla to lead the attack. There is some irony right there she has been with Tal all of this time and the crones pick her to help destroy the chosen…including Tal.
Monday-Well I thought Id start on summer readin early and get a head start. So cureently i am reading ”To Kill a Mocking Bird”. So all thats happened so far is i have been let in on a little back ground info or information ha. Then i was let in on that the brother has broken his arm and has no longer the asetts to play football until now. well he broke his arm before and now he can play my bad. Well actualy thats all that has been stated on the book so ya.
Tuesday-This is a ransom, Not a random something or a something thats random, or ran that has some this is a ransom.and even though this is one of mr mayfields genre things its still in affect until mr mayfield feels like readin them. so if you ever want to find the coach to coach your coachs coach then you have to bring me 3 mountain dews some bubalishes and some skittles if you ever wish to play football again.(and win)
Wednsday- well im taking that the authors purpose of this story is to first of all get you flowing through the story by giving some back ground information and getting you familiar with it then getting it started even more he starts conversations in the book about history of the family in the sisters eyes. so the authors purpose in this book so far is just to keep you intrested in it.
This will be my last blog for this week, so Read and remember so you don’t have to catch up! We laft off where she introduced us to her different family, Gasman who has a farting problem, Iggy who is a really skilled blind guy, Fang who is part Eraser, Nudge who is a self-centered brat, and Angel[Her favorite] who can read minds. They set breakfast up and sit down to eat. Half way done Angel brings the subject up that they are going to go pick the strawberries since they are ripe. When they are all done and ready to go outside they go out and start there way towards the field of ripe strawberries. All of a sudden, Erasers come down in front of them and this wasn’t a dream. She reacts fast and round houses an Eraser in the stomach. She hears screams all around her and sees Fang getting jumped, Angel getting stuffed into a sack, Nudge is getting beat up, and all that bad stuff. All of a sudden she is kicked to the ground and somebody starts to talk to her. It turns out that it was there old parent Jeb’s son who was turned into an Eraser. He then kicks her in the face and knocks her out.
I am still reading Big Fish by Daniel Wallace.

In Big Fish Edward Bloom is going back and forth to Specter. Jenny is living in the house that he has kept up because he talked her out of living in the swamp. She becomes depressed because Edward doesn’t come o Specter as often. Also this book is mythical and she creates a swamp around that house by just sitting there. She does this by making it rain and the river overflows. Edward is diagnosed with a disease that is deadly I think it is some form of cancer but it doesn’t say. That is all I can say today.

hay wut up! im using a mac, which are much awesomer than pcs!!! anyways, pj is speedin thru new york with the 3 old ladies with one eye and one tooth. they finally get to camp half blood, where tyson reveals that he is a cyclops, which is why annabeth brought him, then posiden claimed him, which made pj and tyson half brothers . Then, Thalia’s tree, which held her spirit for about 4 years, is dying. Someone poisoned it. pj suspects luke, who revealed he was a traitor last book and tried to kill pj. only the golden fleece, which jason tried to find earlier, can save thalia. chiron is blamed, and is replaced by tantalus. Percy must find this fleece. he recieves help from posiden in the form of three hippocampi, half horse half fish. they come upon the andromeda, a cruise ship that is owned by luke. they get caught, luke reveals master plan of reviving kronos, who was overthron, cut up, and thrown into tartartan by Zeus, Posiden and Hades. they escape and meet clarisse. the sea of monsters/ the bermuda triangle thrash clarisse’s boat. gotta eat

Riding the Bus with My Sister is based on an autobiography by Rachel Simon. In the story Beth lives semi-independently her father helping out as necessary with appointments and shopping. The father, who we only hear about through flashbacks, dies suddenly and no one wants to step up and take care of Beth. Not even her little brother and sister. With the threat of beth being sent back to the group home lifesyle, rachel agres to stay for a few weeks to assist in the transition. A regular day for Beth involves riding around on the bus. Actually she takes a trip on every route. The drivers and most of the passengers are her “surrogate family.” She knows all the facts about them and their loved ones. There is a mutual protectiveness that the drivers feel over Beth. Rachel rides around with Beth getting to know them and the sister she thought she knew. Not so suprisingly she learns more about herself in the process.
forgot it is possible to eat and type at the same time! anyway, a monster had kidnapped grover at the beginning of the story (that’s kinda important 🙂 ) the island where grover is being held is in the bermuda triangle. they rescue him from an idiot who thinks he is a girl, but get the fleece. Chiron’s cousins, the Party Ponies, save them all. they use the golden fleece on the tree, but it works too well. Thalia is reborn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay gotta shower

ok tonight i am reading the book goose bumps series 2000 cry of the cat . yeah it sounds sissyish but it is not actually it is about this girl named allison who is at her house while her five year old brother was watching a horror movie called cry of the cat and she sat down and watched some of it with him. then her friend ryan came over and said it was time to go to rehersal for the play she was in. so she went outside and got on her bike and road it to her school witch was eight blocks away from her house . when all of the sudden an old cat ran out in front of her and she hit it and then a red van almost hit her so then she was freaking out because she had hit the cat. so then she saw an old abandon looking house and she saw cats in it and she noticed that the door was open so she walked to see if anybody was home and a girl walked out and saw the cat and started crying. she said that mom is not going to like that you killed rip then the cat just like woke up and threw the cat . she told the girl that she knew that that cat was dead and then that girl told her that he is not just a regular cat and then she said you should not have messed with rip and then slammed the door in her face

now im all squeaky clean! anyways, the titan’s curse starts with grover goin undercover to find half bloods. he finds two, Bianca and Nico de Angelo. pj, annabeth, and thalia all go to the school, but a manticore (half human half lion) stops them. the hunters and Artemis (goddess of the hunt) bust out and destroy them. artemis and annabeth both disappear. percy, zoe nighshade, grover, bianca, and percy must find artemis and annabeth plus find the MONSTER artemis was hunting. percy is called to help a MONSTER who is trapped in a net. they set off to go to california for abseloutly no reason, only a blind guess at here they are. Apollo (god of the sun and archery) helps them to Cloudcroft, NM. Grover senses Pan (god of the wild) nearby. A bunch of skeletons attack them. they run to a junkyard, where bianca grabs a statue for some game nico plays. mr huge metal monster dont like that. Bianca sacrifices her self to kill this monster. they find the hoover dam, and zoe says, quote : “Let us find the dam snack bar, and let us eat.” everybody cracks up (zoe dont get it 🙁 ). skeletons attack again, percy almost kills a girl who can see thru mist (a kind of magical shield which blocks human vision from godly affairs). see yall later!

Hey guys!! I havent been on here all week 🙁 but I have just been so far into my book that I’m reading, “Promise Me” by Harlen Coben. It is an amazing book and it kept me flpping through the pages frantically. Just to put it into perspective, it took me about 5 months to read the Narnia series (like 1500 pgs or so total) and I read 449pgs. in 5 days.
Anyways, the author’s purpose of writing this book is to tell how parents see teens and how much they truly care(though they don’t always show it the best ways). He uses Myron Bolitar to be the good guy who can reason with anyone about anything using any method necessary. Myron is a good guy who has the right morale(i.e. always keeping promises and being honest all the time). Harlen also uses the story to push across points of how parents decisions can ruin their children’s lives. He also uses this story to entertain Myron Bolitar fans as well as fans of Harlen Coben himself.

Now I am now reading the book Gemx so I am just going to give a basic discription of the book. Maxo Strang is one of the most perfect people in the Polis, an exclusive district where only genetically enhanced people can live. He is the GenOff (offspring) of the most important scientist in the Polis. Igo Strang, Maxo’s father, is the lead scientist for the Polis. It is his job to continually improve the enhancements. He is always striving for perfections. With the model, GemX, he thinks he is as close to perfect as he can get. Maxo is a GemX.
Maxo enjoys a luxurious life in the Polis. He never gives much thought to the Dreggies that live outside the check points – until he sees Gala on the video screen. Maxo’s life is turned upside down when a flaw in the GemX model is discovered. It seems “cracks,” a.k.a. wrinkles, are appearing on many of their faces and it is up to Igo Strang to figure out what is causing the unexpected early aging in thousands of the most promising young people of the Polis. The problem is, the leaders don’t want to give him the time it will take. Their solution is much more drastic.
Maxo is thrown into an unknown world when he attempts to save himself and others from the secrecy and lies of the Polis.

In the end of Big Fish the title comes in to the story. William’s father, Edward goes into the hospital because he went into a coma. He wakes up when William is in the room and Edward tells William to put him in a wheelchair and drive him to water. He goes into the water and gradually turns into a fish. This is where the title Big Fish comes from. He also saves people from the water, or so people say. Edward, the teller of myths has become a myth himself.

I think the author’s purpose is to entertain and to inform because the book tells you about Pauls life. So its realistic fiction. The book tells facts, yet it is very interesting at the same time. I like books that are not all facts, but I don,t like that many books without facts.

I think the book relates to change because Paul and the team change throughout the book. They are a regular football team and at the end they are a championship football team. It is a big change in the book.

this week i am still reading that goosebumps book ” the cry of the cat” but now I am over half way done with this story and right now what is going on is that that cat (rip) the one she ran over and it came back to life is after her.okay here it is , she was out at rehersal when the cat tracked her down and hid in a cabinet and then when she opened the cabinet door the cat lunged oat lunged out and latched on to her face. then she screamed and used all of her strength and threw the cat across the stage and hit another cast member in the shoulder and he dropped one side of the wooden chair and it completely squished the cat and once again killed it.
yeah that is what they thought until ryan picked up the cat and it came back to life and everyone was trying to catch the cat. buthen ryan just thought the cat was not dead\. but allison knew it was dead and it had came back to life . so now she has killed that cat twice now the cat is really ticked off at allison. then when she got home and walked into her room were she kept her fake mice over two-hundred mice were scattered through out her room. so now she is freaking out because she knows the cat did it.
so as Mr scott would say “My advice to you is not to”…. hit a cat twice. my advice is if you are going to hit it once make syre it is dead so it does not come after you. see you at school tommorrow Mr. mayfield.

Monday- Tish’s (in words of Kaitlinn) dead-beat dad stormed out on their mom AGAIN!! And again it was over something STUPID! They didn’t straight forward say what it was but it had to be something about dinner b/c he had food in front of him sitting at the table.. So her dad left )big surprise) and what does her mom do?? Take a wild guess, so cries and pouts on the couch, you know what Mickey Dee’s is not the reason for obese people its jerk faces like that man who just walked out that same door for the millionth time before!
Tuesday- Like two weeks later Tish’s dead-beat dad struts his happy self back into their house drunk and on Thanksgiving.. Her mom runs in her room to primp for him.. Her brother runs and gives him a big hug.. and Tish grabs her brother and takes him back into the kitchen.. The adult in this story is Tish and i feel so bad for her! She could ask for help but I think she has to much pride to ask for help from someone else. Sometimes you need to set your pride aside and ask for help.
Wednesday- Tish: Dynamic b/c she undergoes major change mentally, she realizes that she has to grow-up b/c shes the only one who cares about her lil bro. Tish’s Mom: Doesn’t undergo change b/c shes still a wrothless person and thats the truth.. She needs to take care of her family and stop crying about life but try to do something about it. Tish’s lil Bro: Poor Baby doesn’t undergo change b/ches just a baby and he doesn’t understand whats going on. Tish’s Dad: Obvioulsy he didn’t but sorta he did b/c hes a good guy but then hes bad and now hes just blahh
Thursday- SO Tish and her mom and bro live at their grandma’s old house they used to live with her with their father but her grandma died and not soon before she passed away was when her dad walked out for years. Tish mentions how much her Grandma hated her dad but why did she let him live with her if that was the case? And she saw how bad of a dad and husband he was but did she do anything about it no, and no one ever said how she died soo whose to say her dad didn’t do anything? I don’t think she died of old age b/c she was rather young to be that old
Hello everyone!! Ok so I technically get half the day off tomorrow because I am going with the highschool football team to get physicals from Alabaster, only because last Saturday they got cancelled.
#1 Their are many different character types in Promise Me, one of those being the guy with good intentions, but everything goes wrong for him and what happens makes him seem like the bad guy. The character who fits this description goes by the name Myron Bolitar. There is also the tough friend who is there no matter what, and in this story he takes the form of Windsor “Win” Horne-Lochester.There are also the very concerned parents, the Beils, the abusive father, Mr. Rochester, and the creepy school teacher, Drew Van Dyne. The cool teacher is Harry “Mr. D” Davis. Although most would think that in a book like Promise me the main character would be a round character, but Myron Bolitar does not change much, so he is more of a flat character.
#2 Facts: Amiee Beil was kidnapped and drugged up so that she could have a child she didnt want. The Myron Bolitar was sent to find her, and of course he succeeded. Win killed two men in the epic gun fight between Win and Myron against Rochester, Orville and Jeb. He felt nothing whatsoever after killling the men knowing that they would have killed his best friend.
Opinions: WOW, When Myron found out why she was kidnapped I was amazed. I just plainly didnt see that coming. I knew it had something to do with the baby, but I had no idea that it was like that. And when Win killed those guys, I pictured the most amazing fight scene ever in my head. I have two words for Harlen Coben: YOU ROCK!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
