so i went to destin – survived – almost – or thought i wouldn’t – or something like that when i tried to do so outdoor running saturday and sunday – sunday, it got even better (worse) b/c my water bottle mysteriously disappeared and my hotel key was left in my room – brilliant next 20 minutes of my life as i said my goodbyes to my internal organs…
but…
i got back in – got water – got back to alabama – and all is right in the world (all that for like 10 minutes of beach time – enough time to walk a bit on the beach – and go away – definitely not a beach person – in my defense, it wasn’t my trip – the idea anyway)
books…
“switch” – business book on how to create change – basically, it can be hard to do when people don’t “feel” inclined to change – or it doesn’t make sense to them – or they don’t have a path to follow – i’m sure what i read will come in handy next year in motivating everyone to become like me:)
“my father at 100” by ron reagan – great book – stories about our 40th president – things i didn’t know – even though i’ve read a bunch on reagan – his son is a democrat so that adds some intrigue to the book – or did – good read – again
outside of those two, i just had odds and ends – my sister dropped “deathly hallows” by my house while i was gone – so i’m going to give that a reread in prep for the movie – can’t wait – hope football guys are surviving their “tough, macho” workouts – be sure to project dinner into the proper trash cans (read: not mine) when the running gets tough:)

Okay. So since apparently Everyone is just sitting around looking endlessly at fan art for the Hunger Games waiting St K’s return. Which is strange.
And to dearest Trey. Get off my blog. Yes, I’m taking over. When you’re a Saint you have power like that.
Really disappointed about not blogging last week. At least I left a comment? *shrugs* I swore I did. I even told my mom about it. She thinks I’m delusional. Most people do.
I’m writing a new book! In a new genre I’ve never written before, more about that after two weeks of blogging.
Mon1- Im gonna blog on these two weeks for Wednesday Wars. It is a really cute book. Cute little story. I would like to start out by saying Heather is my favorite character. She is really independent. Not that I like everything she says, but she really sees the dad for who he really is. Like the fact that he doesn’t want anyone to choose for themselves and has a beautiful destiny for his children, not caring at all what they have to say about it.
Tues1- So now I’ll get on with the story. I can’t even remember what I blogged about two weeks back, but I’m starting over. Because if I don’t start over, well, I’m not going to hit the ‘back’ button and lose everything I’ve already written. So huzzah! New beginnings! Huh. This book basically starts out with a boy (Holling Hoodhood) who believes Mrs. Baker, his seventh grade teacher is out to get him because he is Presbyterian, so he doesn’t go anywhere on Wednesday’s like the other students. (Catholics or Jews)
Wed1- So Holling really thinks she’s out to get him because she makes hmm clean erasers and clean the rats cages. And when he’s cleaning them he rats go crazy and jump out and the story begins. Of course the janitor makes them basically swear to secrecy that no one will find out that the nasty rats are running wild around the school.
Thurs1- I don’t know if I told the story of the Creme puffs. But apparently these children were obsessed. So they wanted Creme puffs because Mrs. Baker had given Holling two and he threw them in the closet because he didn’t want them. So they were like sending out death threats. Oh chldren. Silly games.
Okay. I will blog number two tomorrow. What more do I have to do on a Sunday evening?
My new book. One word: Horror.
Okay. Blogging tomorrow. Huzzah!
