WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING THROUGH OUR FALL FITNESS TEST. THE TEST IS MADE UP OF THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS:
CURL-UPS MEASURING ABDOMINAL STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE
PUSH-UPS MEASURING UPPER BODY STRENGTH
V-SIT MEASURING FLEXIBILITY
PACER MEASURING AEROBIC CAPACITY AND CARDIOVASCULAR ENDURANCE
OUR GOAL FOR THIS TEST IS TO TEACH STUDENTS THAT DOING FITNESS ACTIVITIES THE PROPER WAY IS SOMETHING THAT THEY CAN CARRY INTO ADULTHOOD. ALTHOUGH WE ENCOURAGE THEM TO DO THEIR BEST, OR AIM IS TO GO BEYOND JUST TRYING TO “GET A BETTER SCORE” THAN OTHERS, INSTEAD FOCUSING ON IMPROVING THE WAY YOU ARE EXERCISING.
