Students took the Geologic Time Vocabulary Test and Chapter Test w/an open notes test.  Students were encouraged to pick up the 2nd Sem. Exam Review Guide.

Students completed the Geologic Time Wordsearch and will have the Vocabulary Test on Tomorrow.  Seniors turned in their textbooks.

We continued talking about the types of unconformities, fossils and ways to form fossils.  Students then began to draw, color and label the Geologic Time scale table from their book using colored pencils and markers.

We reviewed the PowerPoint on Geologic Time.  In the powerpoint we reviewed how to read the Geologic Time Scale, the recent earthquake in Nepal, avalanche at Mt. Everest and notes from the current chapter.

Students completed the Geologic Time Review Questions and began taking notes on the information in the chapter.

Students completed reading and answering the Review Questions from Geologic Time. (60 pts)

Students will complete the Geologic Time Vocabulary (72 pts) begin the same chapters Review Questions (60 pts)

Students were allowed to read and summarize the key concepts in Geologic Time by answering the Review Questions (60 pts)

2nd Pd

Students were able to retake the Mountain Building Vocabulary Test (44 pts).  Soon after, they began and completed the Chapter Test on the same material (100 pts).

5th Pd

Students finished the Geologic Time Vocabulary WS (72 pts).  Immediately after finishing the vocabulary, they began the Geologic Time Review Questions (60 pts)

Students completed the Mountain Building Chapter Assessment (50 pts) and took the Mountain Building Vocabulary (44 pts)  Test. They will have the Mountain Building Chapter Test on Monday
