6 - We discussed and demonstrated an actual outline as it pertains to taking notes. The use of sections, understanding how to determine important facts and include them in an organized form was demonstrated with Chapter 5, section 1.
7 - We continued our discussion on how to outline and take notes as we began the Chapter on Weathering, Soil, and Mass Movements. Students outlines Sec. 1 of Chapter 5.
Today, the students completed the Weathering, Soil and Mass Movements Review Questions. Tomorrow we start the notes form the Powerpoint presenetations.
Today, we went over the answers to the Chapter Assessment, Vocabulary Test and Weblinks. Then, took the test on Earth's Resources.
30 - We finished the notes on Earth's Resources and were told of the Vocabulary Test tomorrow.
31- We took the Earth's Resources Vocabulary Test after completing the Crossword Puzzle. Most students had to finish the Chapter Assessment for homework. The Earth's Resources test is tomorrow.
Today, we reviewed the types of Earth's Resources. We also described and discussed the alternative forms of resources as well as the two major types of resources.
Today, students got a free period off due to an extended IEP meeting that was held which the teacher had to attend.
Today, we continued to the notes on Alternative Energy Sources in this chapter on Earth's Resources.
