The Alabama Science and Engineering Fair was held April 3-5 at The University of Alabama in Huntsville. More than 200 junior high and high school students from around the state competed at the event.  Categories included chemistry, energy, transportation, engineering, and animal environmental sciences.  Riverchase Middle School had three student winners in the engineering category. Caleb Page was awarded First Place with Jacob Colvert and Robert Plummer receiving an Honorable Mention.
