The Shelby County Board of Education has approved David Butts as an assistant principal at the new Helena High School, which opens in August.  Mr. Butts has over 14 years experience in public education and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Comeback Academy at Thomasville High School.  Mr. Butts earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Faulkner University and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of West Alabama.
