A student from Columbiana Middle School recently was honored for her artist talents. Emily Stoves, an eighth grader at CMS, had her artwork selected as the program cover for the Alabama Association for Gifted Children’s 20th Annual Conference.
Stoves’ artwork was recognized as the most representative of the conference’s celebration of diversity and creativity theme, “Gifted in Living Color.” Stoves entered the artwork in a contest sponsored by the organization, where the winning student’s design would be featured as the program cover.
