Students in Mt Laurel Elementary’s Center Stage Show Choir performed their Christmas presentation of TOYS on December 12th for nearly 200 parents and attendees in the school’s auditorium. The show was a huge success as students danced, sang and performed their speaking parts for a story which depicted toys that came to life on Christmas Eve. Students dressed as rag dolls, puppets, princess dolls, teddy bears and soldier dolls completely entertained the audience and show off their talents! A special appearance by Santa Claus (aka… art teacher Alan Cecil) was also a highlight of the show!
Center Stage is directed by kindergarten teachers Karen Vann and Jesse Schwall and is offered to students in grades 2nd-5th grades as an after school enrichment program through Community Education.
