Community Education is offering a welding course at the Shelby County College and Career Center starting February 3 and continuing through March 26.  This class is open to beginners and to those who have taken classes and would like more advanced training. Choose to learn Oxy fuel cutting and Shielded Metal Arc Welding or Oxy fuel cutting and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG or wire welding).

Students must be 18 years or older.  Students are asked to wear long sleeved shirts/jackets and work boots to class.

A total of 16 classes will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  (February 3-March 26)

The cost for the class is $280.00 payable to Community Education and a $100.00 supply fee payable to the College and Career Center. Mail registration checks or money orders to Community Education at 601 1st Street South, Alabaster, AL 35007.
