The Shelby County Board of Education recently approved Marisa Pinchin-Polk and LaTasha McMillenĀ as new assistant principals for Chelsea High School.
Ms. Pinchin-Polk has over ten years experience in public education and currently is the administrative assistant at Chelsea High School. Ā Ms. Pinchin-Polk earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Montevallo and a Masterās Degree in Educational Leadership with an Instructional Leader certification from the University of Alabama. She has taught special education and English throughout her educational career.
Ms. McMillan has over fourteen years of experience in public education and currently is the administrative assistant at Helena High School. Ms. McMillan earned a Bachelorās degree inĀ Language Arts from the University of Montevallo, a Masterās degree and Educational SpecialistĀ degree in English as a Second Language from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and certification in Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo.
