Marisa Pinchin-Polk Named Principal of New Direction and Success Program

Marisa Pinchin-Polk was approved by the Shelby County Board of Education to be the new principal of New Direction and the Success Program.

Pinchin-Polk has eleven years of experience in education and was most recently serving as the assistant principal at Chelsea High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with an Instructional Leader Certification from The University of Alabama. She is currently pursuing an educational specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama.
