The Hydrate Tour, a motivational high school assembly program that focuses on helping teens make good choices and developing success strategies and leadership skills, is coming to Calera High School on August 18. Students will experience the Hydrate Tour in two phases – a morning assembly at 8:30 a.m. that is for students only, and an 6:30 p.m. event that is open to the public.
According to the Hydrate website, the programs use cutting edge dramas and skits that deal with key issues this generation is facing: teen pregnancy, drugs, alcohol, teen violence, and teen suicide. Hydrate also presents live music and real life stories from young adults who’ve shattered all statistics; defying all the odds that were stacked against them.
