John Gwin has been named the new Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Chief School Financial Officer for the Shelby County School District.  Mr. Gwin began his career with the Shelby County School District in 2006 working as an accounting assistant. He is currently the Coordinator of Finance and Accounting for the district. Mr. Gwin received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2009.
