Dr. Lisa Stamps will serve as the next principal of Elvin Hill Elementary School after being approved for the position by the Shelby County Board of Education on June 12. Dr. Stamps has over 23 years of experience in education and is currently the principal at Sulligent Consolidated School,  a K-12 school in Sulligent, AL. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women.  She obtained a Master’s Degree in Gifted Education, an Ed.S in Special Education and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration from the University of Alabama.
