Board Names Assistant Principal for Calera High School

Jennifer McCaleb has been approved by the Shelby County Board of Education as new assistant principal of Calera High School.

McCaleb has 18 years of experience in education and currently serves as the administrative assistant at Calera High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Secondary Education and Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo. She is currently pursuing an educational specialist degree in Instructional Technology.
