ARMT+ Countdown

Using songs, games, the internet and our groovy action hero folders we wil be reviewing the multitude of literature terms and reading comprehension skills we have encountered this year as we navigate the school week prior to ARMT+ testing.

Independant homework reading assignments are given because, just as in music, dance or athletics (yes, cheerleaders are athletes), practice is necessary for improvement.

There are no tests this week or next but students will have homework reading practice assignments. Please read and answer the questions on your own.

Please make absolutely sure your student gets to bed and gets to sleep early this coming week so that their bodies –and in particular their brains– can get into a pattern of rest and wake that will be optimal for them.  Children in middle school need 9-10 hours of sleep per night.

A good breakfast including protein and very little sugar is important brain food for everyday, but for ARMT mornings it is imperative.

STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED TO USE A 4 FUNCTION CALCULATOR ON THE TEST AND SHOULD BRING ONE TO SCOOL THIS WEEK SO THAT THEY CAN PRACTICE WITH IT.

There are no tests this week but students will have homework reading practice assignments. Please read and answer the questions on your own.  We will check them for accuracy at the beginning of each class.
