There is no school on Monday. On Thursday students were given lesson sheets for next week’s vocabulary test. They all contain the roots
naut, naus, nav+ relating to sea, ships, travels
and
terr, terra,geo= land; earth
The test will be on Friday along with the test for Part One of Daniel’s Story by Carol Matas.
All students have been given study questions and vocabulary sheets for chapter 1 & 2 along with an essay about Education in Nazi Germany. All students should have read the essay, the questions and the vocabulary sheets and be familiar with the information on them when they return to school on Monday. Written responses are not necessary. Students should mark those questions they cannot answer so that we can go over them Tuesday. They have already read the chapters in class. Sadly, I did not meet with 2nd or 3rd period today. However, I did go to every classroom to hand deliver the packet to each child in those classes.
