This week we will be reading “Let The Bullies Beware” (non-fiction article) and Priscilla and the Wimps” (short story). Our literature focus for non-fiction will be on determining the central idea and summarizing. We will discuss plot, rising action, falling action, climax and resolution for our short story. The grammar focus will be on verbs. The vocabulary words for this week are slithered, lacerations, loner, pun, swagger, dazed, wittiness, immense, stragglers, and fate.
