Welcome to my blog! This is my eleventh year teaching and fifth year at Oak Mountain Middle School! I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Troy University and Master’s degree in Secondary Education (Social Sciences) from the University of Montevallo. I have been married for 25 years to Patrick E. Kennedy. We are blessed to have three children (Patrick Jr. ~ 21; Wilson ~ 17; and Lauren ~ 12). I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and teaching!
I have organized many student/adult tours including Washington DC, Italy, France, England, and Ireland. This year, I have the privilege of organizing the OMMS 7th grade trip to Washington DC/Williamsburg, VA. Information will be updated on the Washington DC section of my blog as it becomes available.
