we were – this has been a quick, quick weekend – it helps to be quick when you’re out until 2:30 am with a football game (it’s not my fault espn 2 wanted it as the preview for the hawaii-nevada game – the group i sat around, being alabama football experts – cough, cough – have assured me though that the mississippi state game will be at 11:30 – which means most of them will lose their expertness – which seemed to come from lots and lots of alcohol – oh joy…)
i did get 200 pages read in “the annotated us constitution and declaration of independence” yesterday – pretty interesting read about why we got both documents – and how both documents should be read – for example, both documents were rather new to the world – so the system of government that was outlined was meant to be a work in progress – ironically, it’s been viewed as rather a document you don’t change
the other book i read (i did finish “war of the worlds” early last week – thought about ordering a class set but then found out that it’s 12th grade reading – at least the author is – so there went that idea – you’re not going to miss much though – it wasn’t great), was “the runner’s body” – i also got a book late in the week, “road to the top” which was about running – just 10 years earlier with its publication – both books were similar in that they used science to drive the advice about running – like the importance of vo max (having lungs that can take in a lot of oxygen)
i’m now to the psalms – like psalm 65 – i found a few that talked about running – which was cool b/c i was running on the treadmill when i read it – i also read the sports illustrated story on the agent that came clean this week by ratting on the players he paid when they were in the ncaa – the story wasn’t that shocking
guess those are the highlights – two weeks until i’m racing in tennessee

i read My Teacher Glows In The Dark.. i think that the new ending is that peter does not end up in a space ship and peter will not get kidnaped by aliens and the whole story goes good from there. anything that went along w/ aliens and space-ships should turn into things that talk about rainbows and a sunny school day that becomes the best day of peters life.
When they get to the school, Jacky meets the priciple or Head Mistriss of the school Miranda Pimm who imeiatley gets her assistant, Dobbs, to remove her jewlery that was from Jamiey. After this is done and she is instructed on what to do if ever in this office again, she is sent to meet the other girls.
She finds them very different but takes up with one Amy Trevelyne, a bit of an outcast amongst the girls. She is from around the Boston/New York area and has a brother that is a ember of the army. She is instantly an enemy of the spoiled Clarissa Howe. She is the leader of all the popular girls in the school and soon Jacky cannot take this different attitude displayed by Clarissa and fights her, both leaving bruises and marks on each other.
She takes a horse riding class, an art class, an embroidery class, a class in French and an etiquette class. On Sunday mornings, the girls go to a church off in a desolate area of the school-grounds lived in by Reverend Mather. Rather than the preacher that the Deacon was for Jacky aboard the ‘Dolphin’, Mather is a bit of an unusual man and Jacky soon finds out why.
While Amy and Jacky are walking through the graveyard by the church between classes, Jacky spots a man looking through the window of an old shed at the two girls. Jacky is creeped out and as they noticed an unmarked grave, they leave in a hurry.
After Jacky is in a fight with Clarissa, Mistress Pimm whips them both on their legs, and Clarrisa is shocked that she is actually getting punished. Jacky is right about Mather as she finds him to be more than a typical preacher. And she thinks he has something to do with the unmarked grave, so she intends to find out nonetheless. That is all i am going to tell you on the book. 😉 🙂 😮 😛 😀 8)
Hello hello hello! Today I only have to blog for 5 minutes tonight!-not that I don’t LOVE always blogging for 10 minutes- but I haven’t really read a lot and the past weekend we just had was my lazy weekend! Wow that was a mouthful! Anyway tonight I’m going to Not do a short summary! I’m going to do a LONG summary! Jk. But I am going to do a POV change. Quite the change for me isn’t it Mr. Maf? Now to get on with.
Well in the book-the one I’m still reading, which is the goosebumps Calling All Creeps- Ricky is the commander and everything so I wonder what that position would be like from like one of Ricky’s parents. I also wonder if Ricky would or wouldn’t believe his parents if they had told him that there were creeps trying to turn humans into creeps. Also another POV change that has been on my mind is if Iris- Ricky’s new friend- were in Ricky’s position. Would she tell her parents about the creeps? Would she make possibly smarter choices than Ricky? I think so because everyone knows that girls are much smarter than boys. Jk!
No really, I was just kidding. Any boy who reads this and is offended, please don’t be.

Monday-
Right now in Maze Runner, Thomas and Minho, the keeper of the runners have spent a whole night in the maze. Something no one has done before especially a “Greenie” as they call the new people who enter through the box every thirty days. Thomas has become the talk of the town because of this. He is elected as a Runner because of his bravery and Minho’s recommendation. He gets all of the stuff a runner needs in the Maze. He is shown the Map Room and gets a layout of the maze. That is all for today.

Mon.- So she’s just got on the ship and she’s meeting all the guys. One of the guys tries to hit her so she shoves him to imply that she won’t be fighting or be fought with. (Power to women… since all the guys in mafeld’s class feel that we should do everything! oh well, if we did, we’d do it better than a bunch of guys) 🙂 Now, everyone is getting chilled and *Oh look! Kurt Warner! Go Kurt!!!!* Sorry, distractions…. So she meets Jamey, who thinks supposedly that he is better than everyone else
Tues.- So Jacky has met the Jamey boy and she likes him, even though he’s sort of a jerk. So she likes the boy, and of course he doesn’t know that she’s a girl, and it was funny because their teacher, Tilly, was teaching them about gays. So latter in the book it talks about how he thought he was gay too because of the fact that he had a crush on her too.
Wed.- So she finds this OTHER guy, named Billy, and I always picture Bella’s dad, which is creepy in so many ways. Billy keeps saying they need a “talk” if you get what i mean. So no, Trey, I will not explain it to you. So he’s a creeper, and I think something might happen there. *Gasp*
Thurs.- She thinks she’s dying, *Cough cough* and she thinks she has the Pox, because she heard about it from her teacher. So, you know it is weird. But I think Jamey is about to find out that she is a girl, and i think that will be better for both of them. It’s all good.

but back to my blog so far i have read that the stump family had been in charge of redwalls wine cellar a.k.a mr mayfields favorite place to be after teaching the wine six graders crying about having fs in your class but any way back to the point and friar higgle stumps (brother furlo) was a strong fat hedgehog and conscientious and tidy in all things pertaining to the beloved cellars(sounds like a alcoholic 😛 ) and he always sat with the three maids while rollo was down on a bench and fetched them drinks (probably from the wine cellar)

I am reading Charlotte’s Web, and its very good book. I decided to read it because i never really have read this book to tell the truth. The authors point of view was to teach us about friendship, and when ur friend is in trouble that u can always find a way to help them. In the dads point of view he sees a pig that is a runt and he needs to kill it, but in little does he know he daughter r runs out and stops him from doing it. Her point of view is that her dad is going to kill this poor little pig that did nothing but she saves him. With her older brother being a goof ball it has to be hard on her with him catching bugs and stuff because he might try and trick her with one. Now i am done,Goodbye
Ok, Today was the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who made me feel like a princess cause I think I deserve it one day out of the year but sadly a Birthday means I am only getting older…… and uglier!! Sniff sniff!!! But now I am being tortured staring at presents that are mine that I cant open until after I eat dinner!! Why is life so Unfair!! I must say that today I had a birthday count for how many times somebody said Happy Birthday so the lucky number is 46!!!

I have started read a new book called When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit I have gotten pretty far in this book but I must say it is one of those books where some parts are boring and then some parts are interesting! This book is so old it came out in 1971 (WEll it is not that old but you know what I mean) This book takes place in 1933. The main character is Anna. She has no idea who Hitler is but she is seeing posters of him everywhere. Anna lives in Germany and her father writes for newspapers and things like that well he talks about Hitler and he doesnt support him but one day Anna wakes up and her Father is gone and it turn out her father has gone to Switzerland to get away from the Nazis and Anna will soon Join him she just doesnt know it yet so Anna continues to live her normal life and then one day they pack up their things and anna and her mom and brother move to Switzerland with their father. Then after they move to Switzerland they move to France and then England so they have the problems of learning new languages and going to new schools and learning new customs. while also staying away from the Nazis this is a good book so I think i would suggest people to read it.

Ugh…the return of blogging…but it isnt all bad i guess. Anyway, lets hop right into journals. Im reading The compound.
POv of bug- Oh my gosh, what was that noise, it was really loud. It sounded like a bomb. Haha, you are probably wondering how i know what a bomb sounds like, well, i have been in far more wars then you know. First, there was the Battle of Anthill Central. A bunch of butterflies and I layed waste to it. Then, I was caught in the Pesticide Spray of 06…lost so many good bugs…But anyway, you know when there is a bomb because of the flash which sho–OOOOWWWWWW MY EYES! OH GOD SAVE THE QUEEN MY EYES! Ow ow…anyway, then you will know because of the shockwave that wo–Oh, dope, ouch, pop! Then the radiati—X_X
Okay Math team was a big success in my opinion today in Hawkins Room! Now here is the basic summary of the rest of the Curse of the Blue Tattoo. Where we left off she was trying to find out about the Reverand and after deciding to skip class and walk the streets of Boston, Jacky winds up in the port playing her penny-whistle. Some sailors hear her, and they and she begin to dance. However, her shipman’s dancing doesn’t pass in the streets of Boston, and when a constable comes across her showing her knees to men, she is imprisoned. Jacky meets the “lady of the night” named Mam’selle Claudelle de Bour-bon of the New Orleans Bour-bons. She finds Mam’selle to be a bit crazy (her sainity is very questionable) but she takes up with Jacky calling her names like ‘Precious’ and others. Soon after time in jail, Jacky is seen before the feared Judge Thackham. All is going well, for her lawyer is an excellent one. But when the constable produces her shiv, which is a knife, as evidence, it seems all is lost. Jacky falls to her knees in a display of weeping, in which she, quite luckily, mentions the name of Miss Pimm. The judge and his jury are delighted that they have finally got one of “Pimm’s girls” in their court, as they have wives and daughters that are very proud of the fact that this has never happened. They are so tickled that they let Jacky off with suspended punishment, confident that the horrified Pimm will do enough.
Jacky’s lawyer, Ezra, returns Jacky back to the school and before Mistress. Instead of whipping Jacky, she expels Jacky from the school but keeps her to work for the cooks and maids. This horrifies and embarrasses her terribly, but it works out well, because she finally meets some nice girls; the serving maids. They grow a great friendship. But before this happens, Jacky must visit Mather to discuss her behavior in Boston. Jacky is shocked when he lashes out, calling her a minion of Satan. Mather is about to whip Jacky, but she fights back, telling him he has no right, and finally running out on a shocked Mather after warning him she has a lawyer.
She goes to see Ezra one day and talks about Mather. Ezra says that one year ago, a girl by the name of Janey Porter who worked for Mather was found hung in her bedroom from a bedpost (SHIVER) and that she died while pregnant. He says that many found her death surprising, as she was generally a cheerful girl. Jacky is convinced Janey did not die from suicide and consults with her friend, Ephriam Fyffe. He confirms that Janey was a very happy girl until the last month of her life, even through the most of her pregnancy. This gives Jacky more to investigate and she finds the Reverend walks the graveyard by night, recalling the events as if he was talking to the spirit of Janey. Jacky sees this and thinks that he is in a state of mental paranoia.
She is convinced the Reverend Mather killed Janey Porter. She has Amy sneak out and watch the Reverend for herself before they go and tell Ezra and Ephriam about it. Ezra sees it possible now to press charges against the minister. During the time of being a maid, Jacky writes letters back and forth to Jaimy even though a couple were intercepted by Mistress Pimm. She runs with the Mam’selle and a drunk artist by the nickname of Gully, he plays a violin named Lady Lenore and they perform in Boston’s taverns. She tries and haunts the paranoid Mather by copying the voice of the ghost of Janey Porter. It succeeds and causes Mather to grow crazier. She meets back up with Davy from the ‘Dolphin’ but only for a brief time and she meets Randall Trevelyne, Amy’s brother. A bit of a friendship ensues and a brief, harmless relationship too. Randall soon has to leave Boston though, leaving Jacky alone after Mam’selle leaves back for New Orleans. Gully strikes Jacky after a act goes wrong, in response Jacky hands him to a navy press-gang and holds on to the Lady Lenore until they meet again.
Amy soon turns against Jacky for a little while when Jacky gets drunk and disgraces her home. Her father hires two men to bring her back but they sell her to Reverend Mather instead. Mather is convinced Jacky is a spirit of Janey, back to haunt Mather or try to. Mather tells his Grand-father, a Puritan minister before him, that Janey shall be dead and that he promises the punishment he didn’t offer the first time. Mather tries to attack Jacky but Ephraim comes for her and knocks the Reverend out. He helps Jacky escape Mather’s house and goes to the school to find it in flames. Mistress Pimm is no where in sight so Jacky concludes she was trapped trying to save her precious needlework. She goes into the building to save Mistress Pimm and she does. Pimm is thankful but Constable Wiggins, who was on Thwackham’s side, tries to catch Jacky with Dobbs but Jacky gets on her horse from her class, Gretchen, and they ride out of Boston. That is the book. 😉 🙂 ;o 😛 😀 8)

okay tonight while I was reading the book a whole in the world I learned about a new character named hennley gray and he died a year ago and i am just going by the context clues and come to find out he was kind of a bad person because it said that he was in hell.I also think that I have discovered what they are talking about by the name of the book a whole in the world ,b/c they litteraly said that he escaped from hell every once and a while. and i think what is going to happen is he is gonna get out and then theey are gonna explain to you wha happens when he gets out and then I think that he is gonna get out of hell and do what ever it is that he does when he getsu out of the dark place

Tuesday-
In Maze Runner, Teresa triggers the Ending on accident and the sky turns gray. The walls don’t close that night and they figure out the maze walls have stopped moving too. The Grievers take Gally the first night and he warns the Gladers that the Grievers will take and kill them one-by-one. All the Gladers sleep in the Homestead during the night, only the Keepers and leaders getting the beds, everyone else sleeps on the floor in blankets. The maps get burned and Teresa figures out the code she was talking about in her coma. The maps are actually hidden in the basement but someone tried to burn them whoever it was. My Reading for today. Or in old Monopoly, the Reading Railroad.

hey i was out sick so i got to do 10 mins. i will do change tonight. i am still on artimis fowl. the point of view has changed 3 times so far. first it went to artimis fowl then it waent to captain holly short then to lieutenant root. holly short and root are both faries. something that has changed in this book for root is the technology. he is in the field looking for holly and he hsnt been in the field in a couple hundred years. this book is a big change from what i usualy read. another thing that changes is what artimis thinks of fairies. he captures one and finds out that thier technology is way more advaced than ours. the last thing that changes is the characters. the author anounces ney characters in the story they are butlers sister and foaly a centaur. well that looks like my ten minutes bye.
hey, the song of today is my name is by eminem, and I read the lost hero. but first, is it me or does RAYCHEK:) (i copied that off the site) have WAYYYYYYYY too many capital letters? any way, can’t to alt pov well, b/c its already got 3 povs, the main characters, so it explains it 3 times (sorta). so ill do alt end. Instead of jason meeting thalia, how about Jason accidentally slicing off thalia’s head. (sadisticness ftw!!!) thereby, Jason is too incapitated with the loss of thalia to fight the king of giants, then free hera/juno. Next, how about….. author’s purpose? Author’s purpose is to entertain, with a twist of learning, in that it teaches roman mythology. How about change of setting? Instead of Long Island Sound, how about the Gulf of Mexico? That way, it has souther girls in it, instead of the city chicks, thereby giving the impression that girls are worthless (that is not an opinion of mine. its what the book expresses.) Also, maybe Hephaestus’s kids can create something to get the oil out of the gulf? Last one is….. For tomorrow.
Hey Mr. Mayfield and anyone else that bothers to read my journals. By the way Julie, I actually read your journals and that one was pretty good. I also just wanted to bug and tell you Happy Birthday a million times. Jk! Why would I want to do that? Sorry but I just feel the need to ask this question. Why do I say Jk? I mean I really don’t know why because I’m not THAT lazy! I mean I think it’s more interesting to say JUST KIDDING! I am so sorry about that, I’m feeling quite random today……. But that’s the end of that story. Anyway!!!!!! Tonight I think I feel like telling you what I think the author’s purpose is. 1. Because I’m running out of time. and 2. Because I thought it would be a fun thing to do considering I’m bored out of my mind right now.
Okay so now onto the blogging! Well I think that the author’s (which is R.L Stine) wrote this particular goosebumps book because he was probably just bored one day and decided to write another goosebumps book.( I’m JUST KIDDING, but I think that this goosebumps book, Calling All Creeps, isn’t one of his best.) Like I said, it definitely wasn’t one of my favorite books of his, but he probably wrote this book for the same reason as he always does in all of his goosebumps books. To entertain the readers. Keep them guessing.

Okay so i am going to do my blog on That Girl Lucy Moon, and i am doing my blog on POVC!! Okayy this time the book handed this one to me!!! See she was talking about her point of veiw on changing from or tansitioning to middle school and how boys behavior starts to change!! Like i mentioned in my last blog post that the guys she sits in front of do a daily bra check!! Well when they started to do that and once she got to thinking hey everybody has changed!! Another way her point of veiw changed from thinking everybody (1st week of school) thinking that everybody acted, treated each other the same, and did the exact same things that they did when they were in elementary. But boy was she wrong!!!

Well, starting on Charlotte’s Web was very good. I like how the dad lets her keep the pig and try and raise it. When there is storms it must be hard for it. The author must have really like spider and pigs because this whole story is about them and there friendship. I was introduce to a new character and it was the rat. He is very clumsy i can tell by letting that egg crack open and the chair. Tubleten is not my favorite rat is all i have to say. Charlotte’s point of view must be she wants to save Gilburt’s life after him hearing he might die and be eating. With her helping him he should do just fine. Bye

POV of Worm- OM NOM NOM this dirt is good. it tastes like its been spiced up with…some sort of SUPER strong flavor. I guess it doesnt matter. It is still pretty good for a worm, becauze, well, I AM a worm so it shouldnt. I could care less about what is in my food. If my doctor…wait, i don’t have a doctor…but anyway. Ok, As I said in my very large and boring blog I wrote last night I am reading a book called When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit. I actually figured something very interesting out today this story is somewhat of an autobiography. Let me explain This book was written in 1971 by an author named Judith Kerr the main character in this story is named Anna and this story took place in 1933 Well this was the life story of the author Judith even though in the story the Main Characters name is Anna. Ok that was really confusing so in as little words as possible THIS BOOK IS AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY!!!!!!!!!!!! You got me? So far Anna has moved from Germany a wonderful place at this time to Switzerland and then France and now England. This would be terrible having to go from place to place learning new languages. Um that would be horrible. Here is something else that is extremely confusing this family starts off in Germany so they speak German but the Dialogue in the book is written in English so it looks like they are speaking English but really it is German and then when they move to England they have to learn English even though the book is written in English so it sounds like they really new English all along.
Ok that really made no sense at all but I will keep it there to confuse people.

Okay I am bloggin about The Maze Runner (finished, By the way) not a good book I don’t care what Marj says it is not good. The ending is okay but I wouldn’t recommend the book.
Wednesday-
In Maze Runner, Thomas and Teresa figure out the code. Thomas realizes he needs memories to figure out what the code means and where he needs apply it. He gets stung on purpose by the Grievers when they come to kill the second person on the second day of the Ending. They figure out that to get out of the Maze and the Glade you must go through the Griever Hole. Most of the Gladers go through the Maze to the Cliff fighting off Grievers to make a path for Thomas and Teresa. That is all for tonight.

hey today i went to the library and i cant wait to read 20000 leauges under the sea. anyway the authors porpose of writing this book is to intertain. i think the reason artimis captures a fairy is because ithas somthing to do with his plan. i am guessing that his plan is to capture a leprocons gold wich has never been done before and restore his family fortune.another thing i think is that the author put faries in this book to make it interesting. well thats five minutes bye.

Okay so I started reading a book that i got today and it is called: Bat 6!! It is really about history (for all of you history freaks!!!) and it is back about the time of the Civil War!! Okayy well I am doing my blog on compare to book and see how it relates to change!!
Okayy I am comparing this book to a book I read last year in Mrs. Bentley’s class called Goober Joe and it also had somewhat to do with the Civil War!!! Anyway that book was all told from a young boys point of veiw and the was not really a slave more like a sharecropper!! The person they sharecrop with is in the war and they don’t know if he will make it back alive. Well this is how book 1 relates to change (bat 6) changed from what it was back then and what it is now!!! people didn’t get mad at other peoples’ dad if they did not go and fight in the war!! and that is how book 1 relates to change!!! book 2 (goober joe) relates to change because now adays you don’t really see alot of sharecropping unless you know it is like family and you pass your land down the line!!!

Hello everyone and anyone who is reading this. I would like to start this journal with a little announcement. First off, loved your blog Julie-especially the part about me!- also, my blog tonight is going to be short, so for those of you that don’t like reading long blogs, maybe you’ll read mine this time. If at any time I sound angry, it’s because my brother- Codi, not Sam for those of you who actually know my family- has gone a little too far on tipping me off this time. -By the way, I don’t care if “tipping me off” is the correct term, but for right now I’m sticking with it-
Well since I have finished my goosebump book, I have gotten back on-and by that I mean I’ve been busy since I’ve started the book and I’m having trouble getting into the book I’m so busy.P.S I started it last year and never really got done with it.- my Twilight book. Yes I am very excited and I hope I can actually finish it and start on the next book-New Moon- in the series. Sorry, Saga. So I think that it would be most helpful to me if I just contrast on how the book so far, is different from the movie. Well first of I’m just going to note that the books are a WHOLE lot more detailed than the movies-even though most books are-. Also in one tiny part in the book that I noticed was different than the movie is that when Jessica and Angela were going to the stores to buy dresses, in the book THEY ask Bella, but in the movie, Bella asks Angela and Jessica if she could come. Oh and another thing I noticed that was different about he two- and this is just my opinion- the book says that Edward is suppose to be cute and hansom and charming when in the movie I disagree. -no offense to all of those team Edward fans out there. By the way, Go Team Jacob!- Those are just some of the things I have noticed that were different.
There is more that I could right but my 10 minutes is up. I was actually going for 5 minutes, but this way I could possibly wash my trombone tomorrow after dance.
(P.S. Don’t think there’s a dance tomorrow at school because there isn’t. When I tell SOME 7th and even SOME 8th graders that, they thinks there’s a dance.)

I am reading Charlotte’s Web and Wilbert has to go to the little girls uncles house. She is sad about it but her uncles isn’t that far away from her house so its ok. Wilbert meats Charlot by her in the edge of the door way in the barn. He barley see her then he looks better and finally does. She is swinging from her web and Wilbert thinks she is flying so he goes ahead and tries to fly from the top of the hay. The author tried to have since of humor but i didn’t think it worked. He see by him doing this that Chalet and Wilbert can be become better friend. That is it. Goodbye

Hi! ok, before I start, I want to say something about the bob books Mr. mayfield. THEY ARE SO DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!(except for bloody jack and the red pyramid.[leave it up to the action books to not depress you!];)) I nearly cried through half of them! (I’m NOT joking!)
Anyways, back to the blog. let’s see, book comparison on slob & the roar. first off, both VERY depressing, yes definitely that. the roar is future & the slob is present. main characters are both always depressed. both main characters are children, slob takes place in America , the roar takes place in england
oops! sorry! in slob there is no real instigator, but in the roar there is definitely an instigator.

Susana’s story
Susana was a mother of 3 kids. She was about 8 and 3 4ths preagnet w/ the last kid. that night there was a knock on the door and there was a man outside saying that he thought the family would be up by dawn!!! 6:00 A.M., and they all heard familiar yells. It was INDIANS!!! the indians came through the house stealling anything they could get their dirty hands could get to. the indians also napped the family and ran towards thye woods, always moving also trying to get as far away from the main fort as they possibably could. As they were walking they stopped at a stream and came upon a horse . they made the man get the horse and let susana ride on it b/c she was having a hard time keeping up . then they came to the cenater of the woods and camped there for the night.that night Susana had her baby..

Well, I’m reading a book called compund, it’s about a boy and his family who, when a nuke hits, retreat to a nuke bomb shelter, known as the compound. The main character, Edward, loses his twin brother and grandma during the hit. Also, the compound is almost identical to there house, with a few add-ons, such as an indoor pool and gym and whatever else a house could have. I think it is one of the BOB books, so stay alert, if you see it you might wanna grab it, it is a very high reccomendation.
I am at a point in the compound in which Edward is outside playing in the gym, on the bsketball court, with his little sister, Katy(who believes Edward’s twin and Grandma are still alive). Edward is talking to Katy about their father. Katy stops and asks Edward if he HATED their father. Edward was quiet about it, but katy was persistent, later on that day, when Edward went back, he startied shooting again, to be greeted by his father who heard the whole conversation, well, later for now peopple
Hey I have been very busy this week so I’m going to have to do all 4 blogs tonight.
Monday- I just finished Series of Unfortunate events: Book 1, so once I finished I went book hunting and I heard good things about the Rangers Apprentice series so I aquired book 1 and finished it in one weekend(only because I was grounded:) So this book was very great. It starts in the castle of Castle Redmont. The Baron(king) Arold takes in these kids who become orphans while they are young and raise them until it is the time of the choosing.
Tuesday- the main Character,Will, is sitting in the dinner hall and barely touching his food because of the nervousness that he is having because of the choosing that was coming for the 5 orphans tha are living in the castle. The 5 kids are Will, Horace, Jenny, Greg, and Alyss. Will is a very wiry kid who is very fast, Horace is a tall strong kid, Jenny is a short chubby girl, Greg is a skinny smart kid, and Alyss is the bossy older girl. Together they are all going to the choosing that will be occuring the next morning. What happens at the choosing is that the 5 orphans present themselves in front of craftmasters(people who have different jobs) and will say their strengths and who they would liked to be chosen to be an apprentice.
Wedensday- An apprentice is a person who is appointed to a craftmaster to watch and learn from them so they have their job when they are older. If they have no job for them they will be forced to work in the fields and be a farmer. while they are eating Horace starts to make fun of Will because Horace overheard him saying he wanted to go to Battleschool. Since Horace is 10times as built as Will so Horace was actually trying out for Battleschool. So he usually cracks on Will because of his weakness. He makes a smart comment back and Horace becomes very mad and fights back but Will is to fast that he darts out of the room and across the large fron yard. Behind him Horace yells “Will No-Name”
Thursday- This is true too. Will was the first orphan and he was left on the front porch of the castle that had a note that said—–
His name is Will.
His father died a war hero.
Please take care of him.
No last name and the reason he fels like he has to go to Battle School is because he feels that since his dad died a war hero he should follow in his footsteps. After the flames on the torches went out he slowly went back to his room and fell asleep.
I got really bored so I just had to comment on some other peoples blogs.
Julie- I know I deserve my title, I mean, yeah, i’m kind all of the time! I forgive you for saying i didn’t deserve my title, even though I do.
Trey- don’t get me started on how many names you’ve spelt wrong. Gosh, your such a hypocrite! Jamey. Is that better!? I hate the book anyway, it deserves to have names spelt wrong.
I had a really great time at preview night, it was fun, and oh to Trey- The like me!!!!!!

Hey Mayfield!!! I saw you in the news paper. I tried to tear your picture out, and Gabby tried to eat it. I have also started the 2nd book in the *Sisters Grimm*, it’s called, *The Unseral Suspects*. I haven’t gotten too far, but I will tell you that Sabrina gets pranked and the girls go on a stake out in the begining of the book. Anyways, BYE!!!!!!!

hey im still on artimis fowl. the change in this book is really interesting tonight the pov changed back to artimis and then to short. i think that the pov might change back to commander root. the setting changes back to artimis’ house. artimis is trying to keep an eye on holly but holly has a plan to escape. another thing that changes is what i thought artimis’ plan was now i don’t know what it is at all. well it looks like bed time bye.
Ok, in Charlotte’s Web the p.o.v changed. Instead of it being about the girl it is know about Charlotte and Wilbert tying to help Wilbert’s life. I like how the author is good at surprising you, like when they were going to go to the carnival Wilbert came in second and that he was going to die. Nope, he was going to live, and have to take care of Charlotte’s baby eggs. He doesn’t know that she is going to have to leave(die). I hope she does good in the after world. The little baby duck is really cool in this story to. Mr. Mayfield i have one of the garden spider like in the book but it died and lade its egg a long time ago. I cant wait in tell they hatch. Bye
Phew has this week been long or WHAT?! Well I had to turn in my last book so I checked out another one:)
Monday- My new book is “Girl Barely 15 Flirting for England” I don’t know what it is about me and books with Foreign people. This girl has an exchange student to but she isn’t going over there just yet I don’t think. The authors purpose is to make people realize that getting out of you “bubble” and coming out of you comfort zone will help you in the future that’s why they have programs like this where you can write to people overseas like: soldiers, less fortunate families, and your peers. Another good reason for it is to learn about other countries and how they live their life differently from us.
Tuesday- Prediction, I believe that the two girls will end up becoming best friends. So they both beg their parents to let them meet, but the trick is they live in two different countries. Any normal parents would be like heck no, but Jess’s (American) momma is actually from around England so Jess still has some distant relatives over near that area. Sop Jess’s momma lets her go of course, then when the two girls finally meet they are VERY surprised at whom each other are, they are nothing like what they expected. But they still become bestest of friends and cause tons of mayhem around England.
Wednesday- Whooaa!! Just realized that this foreign kid is actually a dude and Jess has all intentions on getting her a French man/boy. Man that last chapter was quite a shocker! I guess I should have realized b/c the name she wrote in the letter but its French how was I suppose to understand it? Oh that’s right I didn’t. See this is why books confuse me…you can look in all my previous written work and the points, the characters, and the main ideas are all very clear but in most books they leave you guessing and fending for you self to figure it out.
Thursday- Alternate Chapter- sorry to like make up my own thing but the whole first chapter threw me off on the rest of the chapters I’ve read so far. It’s like the author can’t make up her mind if she wants to go one place or the other so she writes about one thing for a couple lines then gets distracted with a whole new idea then rights about that. If I was the author and I could redo a lot of this book I would organize my thoughts more clearly and maybe have a game plan before writing this book, then the reader wouldn’t be so lost. Next, I would pick 3 main ideas and an all around point to the story, b/c without meaning your just better off not writing whatsoever.
Anyways I just got home from Atrox, which I lead the pack through like half of it:) that’s a personal achievement:) But I feel really bad, which I have all week but anyways I’m off, PeaceDoc

Thursday-
In Out of My mind (rereading) Melody is explaining in her mind to the reader about her disability. She is saying how there are words everywhere and even though she cannot say anything she still remembers every one of them. She explains how she can not sit up stragiht, how she has to be propped up using pillows to hold her up. She explains her talking and food board combination, how there are letters at the top and there are peoples names and common words on the left. My reading for Thursday on Friday.
I have been reading the book, taken. its about a girl who is kidnapped by a group of mexican paramedics. She flashes back many times to happy times. she even had classes back in her school about kidnapping because there were so many. she lived in the safest neighborhood in the usa and still got napped as she would call it.
Dear taken girl(your name is never mentioned),
As always i put myself in your position and talk. If i were you i wouldnt care if i got shot leaving the ambulance. You knw that they probably wont do anything because if they do the deal will be off and they dont get money. also, how many people can an ambulance hold five or six. there’s not that many so i would atleast make a break for it. if they shoot you, they shoot you. theyre not going to make you suffer so it will either be a one shot one kill or they just dont shoot at all. boo yah. i may have just saved the day for you. but theres still a whole lot of reading to be done so i will soon find out if you follow my advice.
i think that the reasoning of this book was to tell the reader to always be prepared. dont go into anyones car if you dont know them. if an ambulance comes make sure that your mom, dad, or guardian goes with you. make sure to check the ambulance’s personel license. remember to alwyas be prepared and never ever go into an ambulance. tell the driver that you want to ride with your parent. also, if an ambulance comes to your house for no reason and says that they got a phone call that the girl is sick, this is for you parents, dont let em go.
i think that this book compares pretty well to the movie taken. who knows if they made the book or movie about one or the other. they both have basically the same plot. plot is the things that happen in a story. i saw the movie and the girl is kidnapped at the beginning. its the same for the book. but the story in the movie is told from the dad and the book is told from the girl. in the book the girls dad is hardly ever home but in movie the dad takes action and saves the girl. the thing the story is about is being kidnapped and they both have that in common.
