so the kids get share time on sunday mornings – the faith trainers are encouraged to share – one girl/lady this week, “and i’d like to share that i’m getting married!!!”
yep, sort of makes, “i ran at the park on vet’s day” a bit less “special” to share:)
“i heard it on broadway” – an oral history of broadway – awesome book – a reprint of an older edition – which actually worked well b/c the people interviewed were in lots of the great musicals that transferred to hollywood – so getting backstory on it all was awesome – and there were some good writing tips as well – things about story – really enjoyable and recommendable
“history of sneakers” – great recommendation for elem BOB (are we listening li’l bri – actually, it’s not about ninja cats so i don’t think you’d like it:) the book would work well for middle school BOB as well but, of course, it’s too cool for anything like that – i knew most of the background behind adidas and puma, that it was rival brothers that split over hitler – and about nike – it’s start with runners and oregon and made up names to get into japanese stores – still, some of the links were new – and the design part was fun to read – as many sneakers as i have, a definite read and recommendable
“overview of the Bible” – two baylor professors – i was thankful it was short – something like that can be hundreds of pages – i realized once i started – but at 260, readable – particularly as it was intended – to be read in a course as the Bible was read – lots i knew – which surprised me – some i didn’t – which i enjoyed – for example, trivia/bonus: what’s the opposite thematic book to ruth, my mother’s favorite book in the Bible??? special prize for winning guess – i’ll give hints as needed – provided anyone reads this:)
may your reading and writing contain such fun – always

“Gift of the Magi”;Line:’One dollar and eighty-seven cents’
Commentary:This line explains how much money Della has to buy her husband a gift. She ends up cutting off and selling her beloved hair to buy him a better present.
Note: I loved this story and recommend it to everyone( even though lil bri wouldn’t like it because there are no Warrior cats)

I love the gift of the Magi!! Yes, Bri would like it. I’ll see if I can get her to read it.
Why is no one blogging!?!?
“Last Leaf”;Line:”Ah,darling, it’s Behrman’s masterpiece-he painted it the night the last leaf fell.’
Commentary:this was a great+sad story. Basically a girl falls ill with pneumonia and clings her fate to a vine. She said that when the last leaf falls off the vine she will die. So her mom has a painting of that vine and puts it on the window. Eventually the girl stops hoping to die.

Line:I almost Puked on my lab report!
Commentary: Niki has a crush on brandon and mackenzie(nikis arch nemesis) went over there to talk to brandon because she knew niki liked him and she went over there and asked brandon if her new berry-sweet lip goss complemented her complection and her new dress with hand sewn 40 carrot diamonds on them.

Seasons
All the different colors,
changing all the time
from red to white.
Cold to hot
the summer sun
to the windy breeze
changing all the time.
The leaves falling,
the snow falling
the flowers blooming
the sun scorching
change all the time.
What was 7th grade word count for NaNoWriMo this week? π

Then as Charlotte was walking out the door, she said, “Finn” can take care of you, we wont be gone long.” Sarah new she had no choice but to say yyaasss. So she nodded and then they walked out the door. Charlotte was already holding his (his=Christopher) hand and had her head leaning on his shoulder by the time they even got to the end of the side-walk. Then Sarah took one look at Finn and he didn’t even take his eyes of_of the T.V. So she picked up a magazine about hair and walked outside to the porch, well what passed as a porch. But Charlotte’s kind of did pass as a porch more than her’s because Charlotte had painted it and had some decorations on it
That is all for right now!!!
I’m doing BOB!!!!!!!
Thanks! By the way, Cason is reading books for elementary school BOB. Although, he doesn’t seem to enthused. I need to work on him. If he doesn’t, I’m not going to be a happy big sister. My legacy will need to live on! Just kidding, what legacy? Rachael, I need you and bri’s help to get him to do it! Haha!
There is a MAJOR plot twist towards the end of my 11th-day-overdue book. I’ve just gotten back into the swing of reading my book, Cirque Du Freak 10: The Lake of Souls. Apparently, the rebel, Kurda Smahlt (from a few books ago), IS the Little Person, Harkat Mulds. The story includes Mr.Tiny medling with timetravel and the dead, yet again. And now that Harkat and Darren have saved Kurda from the Lake of Souls, one of the versions of Kurda will have to die!
Great book, filled with amazing plot twist (even if most of them are foreshadowed and increadibly easy to pick up on).

“Wrath of Darth Maul”;Creative: What would happen if Maul would have found out about the force any other way
1.When the machines hurt him: he would have shut down the machines and not had to train anymore
2.Training out side the facility: he would have killed Sidious and never became a sith lord
Mr. Mayfield said he wanted to know more about our personality on the blog. This is a blog.
I am the leader of the Tacopire(the taco empire). I have future plans to take over Baby Lasagna Inc. after I destroy Katetopia. The rest is CONFIDENTIAL.
I’m going to explain some Bible verses.
PSALM 37:5-7
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward
shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
I think this means that if you put the lord in your heart and go on his path he can help you through everything. You will be noticed for doing his good and showing his love for everyone on Earth. That you will shine doing his good. Just take the right path.
Im leaving for Disney World tomorrow, and I’m really excited for that. The pickup line Mr. Mayfield told us is begging to be used. Since I’ll be in a car for twelve hours Thursday night and won’t be able to blog, Im doing them all tonight. Here’s a creative poem and a short summary of what I’ve read this week.
Satisfaction
Try as we might
we don’t always get our way
which leads to our satisfaction.
We despise not getting our way
and we embrace ours.
We are selfish
greedy
and always want us to benefit
rather than others.
Serving others
should be our
satisfaction.
Very shortly ago – it was actually last week – I finished Playing with Purpose by: Mike Yorkey. It was a great read and I reccomend it to anyone who is interested in athletes and their faith. It’s also a great read for people struggling in staying true to the God they love. The book really demonstrates the temptations of playing in the NBA as well as the special opportunity that it is.
Sure signs of crazy
As Sarah was sitting on the porch reading the magazine Finn walked out and sat on the rocking chair beside Sarah and propped his feet up I the railing and said, “So, why DO you stand in the tree stump in your yard? And I thought you liked to read.” Sarah’s first thought was Charlotte and how she could not believe that she had told Finn that she stood on the tree stump in her yard, she also hopped that Charlotte did not say anything in front of Christopher. (Christopher, the guy that Charlotte is on a walk with.) Then Sarah said, “First of all I do like reading and,” He cut her off and said, “You are reading a magazine!” “Thanks I know I Am, second of all How did you know I stood on the tree STUMP in my yard.” Sarah snapped back at him.
Sure Signs Off Crazy
“I know because I saw you standing on it a few times, so that made me think that this is probably a normal thing for you because you seem to have no hesitation to walk out there and stand on the stump.” Finn says. Sarah just thought, all the time she had stood there to watch other people do weird things in there houses, she never thought that someone could be watching HER. She could feel her face and neck go blood red and get really hot so she breathed heavy and tried to relax and be calm, nothing seemed to work but this happed all the time when she got nervous so she just kind of ignored his question and kept reading the magazine, about the all different kinds of hair.
That is all for today.
Sure Signs of Crazy
When it was close to being night Sarah kept having that feeling that you have when you forgot to do something and you don’t know what it is. Well then she remembered that she had forgotten to put chalk outlines on the space around her neighbors green long car. (she wanted to do this because it seems that the car never moves and looks as if it was always in the same spot. So to see if the car did actually move she was going to trace the tire outlines.) So she her let her feet hit the floor and walked into the living room to find her dad asleep in the floor with the T.V blaring and a graded paper. So she took the paper and set it on the floor and put a blanket on him.
That is all for this week! π
Whereas Will and Jomo are going to Disney, I’m going to Universal; Harry Potter World this weekend…
Line: I braced myself, figuring he was going to make me read something out loud in front of everyone.
Commentary: Arthur had arrived at Jamie’s school. When Arthur got to Jamie’s classroom, he looked straight at Jamie. Mrs.Miller said she needed someone to read something out loud so Jamie braced herself.
Line:We spent that whole morning working with Arthur
Commentary: Arthur went around Jamie’s classroom seeing if everyone was doing the assignment right. Arthur tried explaning the assignment the best he could since he can’t talk that well. So, Jamie said “We spent that whole morning working with Arthur”.
Line:Most of the kids ate lunch in the cafeteria
Commentary: Jamie was at school and the bell rang to go to lunch class. Jamie headed out to the courtyard. She sat on a bench. She chose to sit in the courtyard so she could be by herself and no one would bother her. She took out her peanut butter sandwich and scraped the peanut butter onto her napkin. As she sat out there she saw kids go past her, but they didn’t see her. Alot of the kids were heading to the cafeteria. So, most of them ate in the cafeteria.

The leaves had fallen,

You couldn’t hear any dogs bark
only the sound of the wind making the leaves whirl
There weren’t any children playing outside they were all inside eating turkey and spending time with their families

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”(Leonardo da Vinci)
i believe da vinci was try to say that things complex to be beautiful but they can be simple as well.
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.(Albert Einstein)
Einstein was saying that someone who is stupid can do anything to any degree but if they are smart you may know what they can do and know their limits
Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.(Dr. Seuss)
Everyday you can have fun if you just do it
Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.(Benjamin Franklin)
If you just tell someone something they probably wont remember it,if you were to teach them it they can remember it and if you involve them in learning it they will learn what you gave them.
Oh dear…
Anyway, here’s what I gots 2 say:
So when Brambleclaw and the rest went to go back home, they decide that they were going to go thru the mountains insted. As they went thru, they fell in a cold river, and when they got out, a few Tribe cats saw them and took them to their cave to give them shelter. They began, the Tribe cats, to explain a problem of their own, Which was that a big mountian lion called Sharptooth was picking them off, and that a silver cat, who was Feathertail, is going to save them.
Yay!

you know Christmas is coming when you’ve just heard “Feliz Navidad”, “Happy Holidays”, “Jingle Bell Rock”, and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra play that song (can’t think of the name) that goes something like “Ring silverbells, doo doo dee doo…” for, like, the millionth time.

anywho…still reading *drumroll please*…you guessed it! ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE by Anthony Doerr. you’re probably thinking “geez, how big is that book? she’s blogged about it for the past, like, six weeks!” i know, i know. i actually CAN read fast, but some books take me longer than usual. this is one of them.
anyway, Marie-Laure is staying at her nutty Uncle Etienne’s house, and he’s showinng her a bunch of machines and inventions that his brother made before he died. Marie-Laure still wants to go outside and visit the beach, but her father is afraid of letting her go outside because of the war and the Nazis and the German bombers. Werner, on the other hand, made it into the camp for Hitler’s soldiers, and is studying for a high-powered professer. he’s writing letters to Jutta telling her how things are going over at the camp. Werner befreinded a boy his age who likes to study birds and is a bit nutty himself.

“Does God Cry?”
by Blue
One spring day
when the clouds were rolling in,
quite thickly and quickly
and the cats were singing,
and the children walking home from school
have small, bright oranges
like tiny balls of fire
in their small palms
and dimes are jingling in their pockets,
and toddling tots are trailing behind them with red wagons,
filled with fine, oiled, leather mitts that dads and brothers handed down, and oak bats from the general store,
my little darling,
with blue dolly eyes and blonde curly locks
and hands and cheeks like a round baby
watches the clouds
and as drops begin to roll down the dining room windowpane,
like teardrops,
she looks up at me and says,
“Momma, does God cry?”
I watch her,
and as I do,
I look to the sky and reply,
“I’m sure he does.”

OMG my iPad just froze and I lost my freaking blog I was typing that is so annoying but I guess I’ll start over: im reading the maze runner and im on the third book and I’ll try not to spoil much incase there are others still eager to read it and I also recommend it strongly if you’re into action series like the hunger games. Anyways im into the part where there is a group called the right arm and they’re planning to trick wicked by giving them immunes and as soon as they think that they’re all friends they will blow a hole in the walk of the building and about eighty people will rush in and hopefully take control with the help of a device that Thomas plants earlier that disables the guards launchers and pistols.

I saw the man.
He stood black as night on the cliff side.
I ran up towards him screaming his name,
He looked back,
With black eyes,
And jumped.
I ran towards the cliff,
Looking over to see the last glimpse of him,
But he was gone.
Disappeared from thin air,
They didn’t find a body,
Or any other traces for that matter.
All they found was a single book,
The name being,
Supernatural.
Quote for this week: “The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.” Walt Disney.
This quote really sparked something in me, I read this thinking that it was sort of selfish, but as I dug deeper into it i resized what it means. The more you truly work out your rough edges; the more you shape your own image of a Godly human body, the more you will be unique to those around you. Walt Disney was one of these people, he worked out those rough edges, and made a more Godly person put of himself. This quote is all about being unique, you don’t have to wear the same clothes, or even sing the same songs, you need to sing your own personal song in your life. The more your unique the more you will be wanted to be with. Don’t be like all the other people, do your own thing, and follow God through that.
Oh great we have now brought “#” to the blog, what is next!!!!?
