6. Catching Fire
   Katniss thought it felt weird when she did not have much of anything in her game bag. Then she thought about that cat in her hands, even know that Katniss hated that cat they had one thing in common, the hatred of the new “expensive” house. The cat would go to the old house every day after Prim left for school. ——- Katniss had not had many people to talk to after “the games” because of Gale having to have a full time job and all. Katniss knew he did not have to be “poor” but he would not take a DIME from her. She still hunted and gave it to his mom because his mom had know problem taking a little food from her. Because Katniss had know problem giving it to them. I mean it is not like Katniss’s family needed her to go hunting every day like she used to.

7. Catching Fire
   Katniss stopped by Gale’s house to find his mom then Katniss gave her the food and left…—– Katniss walked over to Haymitch’s house and TRIED to wake him up. Several times. So the she took some water off the stove and poured it in a cup then splashed it on him. Then Katniss jumped back fast because she forgot that Haymitch sleeps with a knife clutched around his hand. Then he came to came to his sences. And then he said, “I told you too wake me up, not scare me up!” “Well if you wanted to be babied then you should have asked Peeta….”

8. i ran a half marathon and met mister Mayfield after we both were done running

   in Eragon eragon and brom are hunting the razac after they killed eragon’s uncle garrow and fled carvahall. they tracked them to a city and looked for them a few days. eragon woke and found a letter from brom (pretty sure it was a) the letter said that he was out and eragon had the day to do what he wanted. eragon wandered a bit and then entered the cathedral and found the razac behind him h tried to shoot them (with an m19) with his bow and ended up running through the cathedral and jumped a wall hiding under a cart. they were captured and mortagh (a man with an m19) a man who carried a bow a sword and a horn tried to rescue succeeded but brom got stabbed in the process set up camp a ways of and that’s the end of the dramatic story (with m19s and letters)

9. Alright I got a INTERESTING question on saturday from Firestar. The question is as follows: ‘Who is WaspMan?’. The answer is such: WaspMan is a fictional persona i have made for myself.In a nutshell he is a half-human, half-wasp mutant. Others false characters i have made include: Dragodudeful, Darth Draco(aka Darth Draconis aka Dark Dragon), and others.

29. I guess I felt like crying because I decided to watch the fault in our stars. Actually the movie wasn’t as good and moving as the book was but still. So I have decided to take some quotes from the book and talk about them, if you haven’t read the fault in our stars then you need to, it’s very good, but just don’t read it in a public place because you WILL cry.

    Did you know in tfios one of the characters (Peter Van Houten) quotes one the characters from Shakespeare’s play Julius Caesar (Cassius to Brutus)? This is the quote:

    “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars/But in ourselves”

    In this quote Julius is pointing out to Brutus (and Peter to Hazel and Gus) that bad things aren’t caused by space (the unknown) bad things are caused by ourselves. We can’t blame things on nature’s path, bad things are through the fault of human temptation and our own flaws

In this quote Augustus is referring to Hazel, Augustus knew that Hazel could hurt his feelings, but he didn’t care, he was okay with his choices because he loved her.

    In this quote Augustus points out that instead of leaving great legacies that people talk about in history classes or remember for the rest of their lives as “that amazing thing that happened in July of 1998” humans leave scars on people. Whether those scars be emotional or physical people leave scars. If you bleakly look out into the world you realize that there are a lot of bad things that you can not control and those things leave scars. Too often these things happen because people do not do things to prevent them, and Augustus realizes this.

    I think Augustus is given the most beautiful, poetic quotes ever, when I was looking for quotes his were always the ones I fell upon. The character of Augustus Waters is exquisite, without a doubt.

    5.then she gets back Excalibur which is why she was at the castle and got her head cut off in the first place

    Commentary: Jason is a boy Catherine has met at the clinic where her autistic brother takes speech lessons. Jason is in a wheelchair and unable to speak. He uses picture symbols. Catherine is a good artist and has been making new cards for him. She is afraid to go to his birthday party because Jason also invited her brother. Her brother would have to watch the T.V., check the cellar door, etc. She tells him maybe her brother can come at the end and have a piece of cake.

    Line: Here are your rules.
    Commentary: Catherine gives her brother a sheet of paper with his rules on it as they enter the party. Chew with your mouth closed. Don’t open or close doors. Don’t look in refrigerator or turn on their TV. Use a fork for cake. Catherine is afraid that her brother is going to embarrass her. Her mom assures her that she will watch him. Of course, her brother opens cabinets and licks frosting off the side of his hand. He embarrassed her at the party.

    Line: I mean. Do you want to come? Dance. Me.
    Commentary: Jason asks Catherine to go to a dance that night. She tells him no because she says she’s a bad dancer. He is very upset because he thinks she is embarrassed of him and doesn’t want to go with him because he is in a wheelchair. Later, she feels really bad and calls to talk to his mom. She tells her how sorry she is to have hurt his feelings and she’ll be there in an hour to go to the dance with him. They go to the dance and have a great time!

    Creative: One time I was at home and I looked outside. I saw a helicopter landing in my backyard. I went around the house looking for my parents. I saw a note on the fridge that said they went to the store and would be back in an hour. I grabbed my phone and called them. I told them there was a helicopter in the back yard and they said it was just my uncle coming for a visit in his helicopter. I was relieved and opened the back door for him. We talked for an hour and before I knew it, my parents were home. I was so excited to see my uncle come home!

And Sarah was happy because she has never known that before!

    in eragon he and murtagh are going to the varden and while they are trying to get Arya to the varden to get the cure for the poison that durza (the shade) gave her while she was in prison. they encounter urgels along the war and are forced to go faster than ever before to avoid the kulls a stronger type of urgel they make it to the varden and eragon’s mind is tested to make sure he is trust worthy murtagh refuses to have his mind probed and is thrown in prison urgels attack the varden soon after they recover they have to fight off the army of urgels and eragon has to kill the shade durza. end of book

44. So, this is for this week. I should have a written journal for last week. That one is about the Sanheili (Elites), while this is about the Forerunners.

    The Forerunners were the ancient race whose empire reach millions of worlds through the Milky Way galaxy. The race is responsible for the Halo Array, the Ark, and the Shield Worlds (the SW are the shelters for the activation of the Halo Arrays). The Forerunners are also responsible for the artifact weapons that are all used by the Covenant.

    To the Covenant, the Forerunners are viewed as gods. It’s actually a grave offence to the Covenant, to deface or alter the technologies of the Forerunners. So much so that when the Heirarch, Regret, finds an altered Plasma Rifle with human ammo counters and advanced targeting scopes, he sends Vlad Vladamee to hunt and eraticate the humans responsible for altering the technologies that they hold as holy.

    Though they are a race barely focused on during the Halo series (books included), the Forerunneres are incredibly important, since they are the beginning and the history of the game and the entire Halo universe. They created and are the start of the human race, so goes the origin. When they fought and were defeated by the Flood, they initiated the Halo Arrays to eradicate any and all sentient beings that had thought and could be used as a food or fuel source for the Flood. The Forerunners, continuing with their contingency plan, sent out cloned DNA of all living things all over the universe. This is the beginning of the human race and thousands of years before the UNSC and the Halo Spartans.

Im reading a book about a teenagers account of climbing Everest and right now in the book he is talking about his workout routine in which he runs up and down flights of stairs until he about throw up. Sounds great already, then after that he does what he calls his uglies, which are the more intense side of the workouts. He then goes and takes a shower and goes to bed, all of this in preparation for Mount Everest, which is his lifetime goal to make. He is planning on going up the north side which clearly fewer people have went up because it’s a steeper side and a lot more people have died there than survived. It’s on one hand cheaper and on the other hand very dangerous and nobody expects this 15 year old to make it to the summit.

    Score: Alabama 60-62 Auburn

    With 30 seconds left Alabama needed a stop against Auburn. Auburn had led all game and Alabama was making a final push for the win. This rivalry was still huge even though it was basketball. After the timeout Auburn passed the ball around and then ran a pick and roll play and they drove to the rim with 5 seconds and got a foul but missed the shot. But, for Alabama there was good in this. It was Auburn’s worst free throw shooter on the team shooting at 53%. He missed the first. He missed the second Alabama rebound. He passed it to a guard and he threw up a deep bomb…………SWISH. He drained it, Alabama won on a miracle. Alabama 63-62 Auburn.

    Comment- This is insane, they worked their hardest and they got scholorships in elementary school. That is what hard work does. And a little crazy college scouts.

48. Okay heres a monster blog due to winter weather messing up my schedule. I will be writing some creative poems and summarizing what I read this week.

    So this week in Open Your Eyes I read Jakes mothers experiences with his cancer. She said that when she had to learn to put her faith in Gods plan for her life. She learned to not worry because she knew that it would be Gods best interest prevailing in the end. By reading God’s word and praying often, she felt more comforted.

49. This week has been highly annoying in the sense that we have had only one full day, which was Monday. I would’ve appreciated it any other week, but seeing as finals are the next week, it kind of injures the preparation week.

    I finished Gathering Blue. The ending was slightly different from what I expected, but I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t read it. I was highly unsatisfied with the book as a whole. The Giver was much better and I wish Lowry had provided a better sequel. Gathering Blue didn’t have the same pulling in feeling as The Giver did. Oh well, at least I finished it….

    I have finally started reading Stephen King, which of course was recommended by my dad. I have begun reading 11/22/63, a novel which is about a teacher who finds a portal to the year 1958, under a mission to prevent the Kennedy assassination. Of course, by entering the time period 5 years before- he has five years to prepare.

    Line: “I have never been what you’d call a crying man” (King, 2011).
    Commentary: This first line is intriguing because instead of being given a setting, we immediately jump to the character’s thoughts. The character describes many instances where one would’ve normally cried, but he could not find himself doing so.

    Line: “Life turns on a dime” (King, 2011)
    Commentary: I did not know what this metaphor meant at first. After looking it up I learned that the figure of speech is to explain that life can change course very quickly, either good or bad. In the case of the character in the book, I feel it is a bad change.

    Anna woke up Conner and Reagan in the middle of the night and told them that she needed to get out of there and that there was a person right outside, so they got some silly string and silly stringed the person that was right there and he went to take a shower when he got out Anna was gone
