“theory of everything” by luna – i’m curious for my kids to read it and let me know what you think – for an old man teacher:) it reads well enough – i couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t in the teen section – it might be considered “too innocent” for that age – but i’ve got plenty of high school girls that fit that category so i think the book reads well for 7th-11th grade – again, maybe more for girls just b/c guys like to read about themselves – anyway, the basic plot is a girl who sees pandas and thinks they relate to her father’s leaving so many years ago – and her quest to figure out what’s real – the title relates to string theory – physics term – not music:)
and that’s it – i’d write more but i’m on the disabled list right now with a right hand that doesn’t want to work (b/c i sliced three fingers off at the county dump yesterday – oh, the fun with microwaves)

I just spent the last thirty minutes of my time reading past blogs because I have nothing else to do. Unfortunately I’m grounded from my phone and it can really kill a man, so… yeah…..
10-15 years ago, losing your phone and being depressed about it just would’ve made you a girl:)

meanwhile, i actually finished another book – Christian theology takes a while to get through – i know it looked like i was slacking with just one book for this week – again, though, the massive blood loss from trying to throw a microwave off the back end of a truck probably means that i don’t remember much of the book:)

Did you really lose three fingers? At first I was skeptical but now I’m asking myself a second time if it really happened.
I’m also mad at myself for slacking on Inheritance. I’m on approximately page 110 and I haven’t read since Friday. Oh well, the car trip to Nashville on Wednesday will redeem my guilt.
Back to past blogs, the journaling part didn’t take place until early 2009, and before it was just snippets. I especially liked the one with the picture of you checking your watch during a marathon.
Will blog more over the week, because I have nothing better to do until Wednesday. I can’t believe I’m anticipating a visit to a restaurant with stinky cheese carts. For some reason my brother loves the idea of smelling horror.

Blogging is a place (look at that, I spelled it right) where everyone spells everything wrong, talks about waffles, ninjas, and dinosaurs, and sometimes a little bit of fingers and microwave slicing action. i saw a lorax t-shir today but i decided not to get it b/c wearing it would make me sad – i watched the ’70s version (there’s an older one that the one that came out last year) recently – wow, that was a sad book to be pushing on kids…

I am so sorry my fellow people, I haven’t blogged over spring break. Yall must REALLY miss me. and Keaton, I agree, Anna is DIFFERENTLY resisting blogging.
