Element Symbols

We reviewed the parts to an atom, the scientists and how the parts relate to the Periodic Table. Then we reviewed the basic facts about the Periodic Table in reference to the 1st Periodic Table devised, how we came up with the symbols and how we write the symbols. We concluded class discussing how to correctly write chemical symbols. Then, we got an easy 100 pt worksheet on finding and writing the chemical symbols for the elements on the Periodic Table. The worksheet was not finished in class, so it was due on Monday.
