Class began with students completing a worksheet called, "Naming Ionic Compounds" (50 pts). Students learned how to write ionic formulas with polyvalent ions (transition elements) and then take the formulas with transition elements and write the formulas. They had two worksheets for classwork/homework; "Writing Ionic Formulas with Polyvalent Atoms" (50 pts) and "Naming Chemical Formulas with Polyvalent Ions" (50 pts)
