9-20 (Wednesday)
Students worked a practice problem to begin class. It was reviewed and they were handed the English Conversions WS (45 pts). They worked on the WS in class and turned it in at the conclusion of class.
9-19 (Tuesday)
Students were introduced into conversions using conversion factors. We worked on Conversions in the English System of measurement. Five problems from single conversions to multiple conversions were worked in class. Students were given the equations from distance, volume and weight to help in the conversions. No homework other than reviewing the equations.
9-18 (Monday)
Students worked problems w/Conversion factors from their textbook and the Chemistry text on turning regular numbers into scientific notation. Then they were instructed how to convert numbers in SI from the Physical Science textbook. All work was turned in at the end of the period.
