4-3-18 (Tuesday)
Students conducted an "Observation" Lab using the scientific method. Milk, food coloring, vegetable oil, water, and dishwashing liquid were used to observe the action of polar and nonpolar molecules. They were to also answer questions from the Data sheet (60 pts).
4-4-18 (Wednesday)
Students conducted a "Density of Irregular Solids" Lab. After discussing the ways to calculate volume and instruments used, students measured the mass of nuts, bolts, and washers using the methods of displacement, graduates and triple beam balances. Finally, after determining masses and volumes, students determined the density of the metals items.
