Students began and worked on the Covalent Compounds Review Questions (70 pts) in class. What was not completed in class was assigned for homework. Students were reminded of the E-Day assignment from Mrs. Cook and of the coming end of the 3rd 9 Weeks grading period.

Students received their Ionic Compounds Chapter Test back and were allowed to correct the questions that they missed by "item analysis". It was an attempt to see what they missed and determine why they missed certain questions. They were allowed to use their notes and textbook to find the correct answers.

Students began the class studying for their Ionic Compounds Chapter Test. After the study period, students took the Ionic Compounds Chapter Test (100 pt). They began the Covalent Compounds Vocabulary (78 pt) after the Ionic Compounds Chapter Test.
Students had a Review for the "Ionic Compounds/Bonding" in preparation for the Chapter Test on tomorrow.

Students were allowed 10 min. to review and "go over" their vocabulary terms for the Ionic Bonding Vocabulary Test. They then took the Ionic Bonding Voc. Test (50 pt). After the Voc. Test, they worked on the "Element Code" WS (38 pt). They will have the Chapter Test on Ionic Compounds on Wednesday.

Students continued the properties of Ionic Compounds and how they differ. They were to conclude class with the Word Search/Crossword Puzzle prior to the Vocabulary Test on Ionic Compounds.
