Students learned what a polyvalent (transition) element is. We also learned how to write ionic compounds with polyvalent elements and how to name compounds with polyvalent elements. They had two worksheets for homework; Naming Ionic Compounds with Polyvalent Ions (50 pts) and Writing Ionic Formulas with Polyvalent Ions (50 pts).
