Students watched a podcast of naming polyvalent (transition) element containing compounds. Then, they went over how to name transition elements w/roman numerals in ionic compounds. They also went over how to name transition elements with polyatomic ions. After going over the nomenclature, they worked on two worksheets and the same concepts.
