3/4/15 (Wednesday)
Students began working on the "Chemical Reactions" Chapter Review (54 pts) from their textbook. Towards the middle of class, we took the "Chemical Reactions" Vocabulary Test (40 pts)to check on the retention of the terms that we defined earlier last week. The "Chemical Reactions" Chapter Test will be tomorrow followed by the 3rd 9 Weeks Review Guide. Students were encouraged to pick up the Review Guide on Monday. The 3rd Qtr Benchmark Test will be on Friday, the last day of the 3rd 9 Weeks.

Students were working on reviewing for the "Chemical Reactions" Test on Thursday by completing the following items:
1. Balancing Equations WS 2 (30 pts)
2. Chemical Reactions Word Scramble (30 pts)
3. Ch. 19 Study Guide (72 pts)
3/2/15 (Monday)
The teacher went over the process of balancing equations with students again. 4 different types of equations were balanced together, then 3 practice problems were worked before allowing students to complete the "Identifying and Balancing Chemical Equations" WS (48 pts)in class. They were then given the "Chemical Reactions" Crossword Puzzle for homework to prepare for the Vocabulary Test on Wednesday.
