Students completed reading from the text on how to multiply, divide, add and subtract w/numbers in scientific notation. Then we practiced solving scientific notation processes w/a calculator and without a calculator. Then, they completed a worksheet on "Scientific Notation, +, -, x, and division" - 50 pts.

Students took notes on Scientific Notation (Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing) and discussed how to properly use a calculator doing these operations. We also discussed how to perform these without a calculator. Then, they were assigned a worksheet (48 pts) performing these operations for homework.
