Students took the Data Analysis Test (50 pts) and then began the Data Analysis Ch. Assessment for classwork/homework. They will have the Data Analysis Ch. Test on Tomorrow.
Data Analysis
Students completed the Data Analysis Powerpoint and began the Data Analysis Seek-n-Find (50 pts). They will have a Data Analysis Voc. Test on tomorrow and Chapter Test on Thursday.
Significant Digits
Students worked practice problems from p. 51-52. The problems were discussed and then information of how to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers with the correct number of significant digits were reviewed. They were assigned a Significant Digits (+, -, x, /) WS for homework. They will have a vocabulary test on Wednesday and Chapter Test on Thursday on Data Analysis.
Percent Error and Significant Digits
Students took notes from the PowerPoint on Percent Error; what it is and how to calculate it. Then, they received the % Error WS (48 pts) and completed it in class. They were also allowed to read and determine what significant digits are from the textbook and complete the Significant Digits WS (24 pts)
SI/English Conversions Test
Students took the PSAT yesterday so the SI/English Conversions Test was moved to today. Percent Error was discussed and calculated. Then, we began the Significant Digit notes after the test. Students were told to read and highlight important facts from the text on how to determine the significant digits.

SI/English Conversions
Students completed the SI/English Conversions (45 pts) that was started on last Thursday. We reviewed the items for this chapters objectives and began the notes on Percent Error. Students were informed of the SI/English Conversions test on Tomorrow and the percent error WS.
Eng/SI Multiple Units Conversions
Students worked 2 Multiple Units Conversions on the board, then began the Multiple Units Conversions WS (45 pts). They were notified that they will be having a SI Conversions Test on Tuesday when they return.
SI – English Conversions
Students were given the SI - English conversion factors so that they could convert English measurements to SI or vice versa. They then completed the English to SI Conversion WS.
