Students took the "Motion" Chapter Review (50 pts) at the beginning of class. They were allowed to work on and complete it in class. It was taken up at the conclusion of class. The "Motion" Vocabulary Test (26 pts)was taken 30 min. into class. The "Motion" Chapter Test (100 pts) will be taken tomorrow as soon as the bell rings. Be sure to study.

Students took notes from the PPT on Motion which covered, Newton's 1st Law of Motion, Inertia, Motion on Stationary Objects and Gravity. They were assigned a "Motion" Word Search (30 pts) to prepare for the "Motion" Voc. Test on Monday (March 13) and Chapter Test on Tuesday (March 14).
Velocity and Forces
Students continued the "Motion" PPT on Forces, Velocity, and Speed.
Covalent Compounds
Students answered the "Covalent Compounds" Vocabulary (78 pts) and the Review Questions from the same chapter. (60 pts). The 3rd 9 Weeks grading period ends on Thursday. All makeup tests should be done BEFORE Thursday, March 9, 2017 during the GPS or arranged time.
Speed

Motion
We finished the "Tracking Speed" Video (40 pts), then we copied the notes on Acceleration from the PPT on Motion. Finally we worked 4 sample problems on Acceleration. We ended class with a worksheet on Acceleration Word Problems (30 pts) for homework.

Motion
Students watched the "Tracking Speed" VHS tape and answered "Tracking Speed" questions worksheet (30 pts). They were advised to have a calculator for class tomorrow.

Today, we began the Physics portion of Physical Science. After discussing the term Physics we began the "Motion" chapter by defining speed. Soon after we calculated speed, distance and time and were assigned a "Speed" WPWS (30pts) for homework.
Chemical Reactions & Motion
Students took the Chemical Reactions Chapter Test (100 pts) and were assigned the Motion Voc (34 pts) and Motion Review Questions (50 pts) for homework.
