We took notes on Energy and its forms as well as the two types of energy. Then we began and completed the Kinetic Energy Word Problem WS for homework.

Students reviewed the Forces Chapter Review, and took the Forces Test. The Energy Voc. is due tomorrow.

We completed the Forces Crossword Puzzle, took the Forces Voc. Test and had the Forces Chapter Review for homework. We will take the Forces Chapter Test on Monday.

We discussed how weight is determined and calculated. Then each student completed the Weight Word Problem WS. We then continued to focus on Newton's 3rd Law of Motion. A Forces Voc. Test is scheduled for tomorrow and Chapter Test on Friday.

28 - Most students were taking the English part of the End of Course Test.

29 - Students completed the Weight word problem WS in class and we continued in talking about Newton's 3rd Law of Motion and it's concepts.

We continued the notes on Gravity, Friction, Air Resistance and Drag. Students were told to have a calculator every day for the rest of the year.

Students completed the Newton's 2nd Law of Motion Word Problem Worksheet. Then finished copying the notes from Monday's class.

Monday - Watched Newton's Hat Trick Video and answered questions on a WS from the video.

Tuesday - Completed the Newton's 2nd Law of Motion Word Problem WS using F = m x a formula.

We explained the calculations on the lab Data Sheet and began to finish the data in lab.

Today, we went outside in the parking lot and performed the "How Fast Are You" Lab. Students walked and ran 10 yds and 40 yds. Then we walked 20 and without stopping ran 20 yds to accelerate. We finished the lab outside and came inside to perform the calculations to see what seed and acceleration actually look like. We will complete the calcuations in class tomorrow.
