One thing I learned about is that the shorter the rocket the farther it goes thats also with the nosecone. Also with the digrees the lowest the digree the farther the rockets go.
– pointy nose-cones go farther
– the smaller and lighter nosecone, the farther it goes
– shorter rockets have further range
The smaller the nose cone the farther the range the rocket goes.
The rocket has to have a srtin kind of strow.
The smaller the rocket is the lest wight.
the rocket experiments where cool because some rockets went over 16 ft it was amazing. we could make are own fins and the shape of are nose cones. this experiment was so cool!
I learned that a smaller nosecone the farther it goes. I also learnd that the higher the angle the higher it goes but it does not go as far as the angles lower to the ground.I also learned that if yo use a real straw then it does not work as good as the straw that we are useing now.
In our first experment i learned that the smallest nose cone worked the best. In the second experiment i learned that the pointier nose cone work better. Finnaly in the third experiment i learned that the 15 degree angle made it go farther.
-I learnd that you need a bullet like nose-cone to make the rocket go faster. -I learnd that you put the angle at a low point it will have a longer trajectory.-I learnd that if you make the nose cone smaller (but not too small) it will go higher.
I love doing the rockets.Mrs.Tolbert is the best teacher EVER!The rockets were hard a first but it got easyer as I got the hang of it. I know the little rocket goes the farthest. My favorite nose cone is the little one.I know the shape of the cone I like is the shape of a bulet.I LOVE G.R.C. SO MUCH.
The first thing I learned is the smaller the nosecone is the farther it will go.The second thing I learned is you got to have the right size fin.The third thing I learned was at a 15 degree angel the rocket went farther.
1.I learned that the smaller the mass if the nose cone the faster the rocket will go. 🙂
2.I learned that the type of straw you use does matter because during the experience we tried to use McDonalds straws and they were so wide the air wouldn’t go all the way through so the rocket couldn’t move. <3
3.I learned that the smaller the straw the farther it goes because it is lighter just like the nose cone. ;]
Today In are first round of the rockets we did the smallest and the smallest wnt the farthest becase it barlly has any wate.
The second exprmet rocket was the meidum rocket and it didnt go that far because it has a little of wate.
The third one was the largest one and the largest one did not go far at all because it has alot of wate.
I had a blast doing rockets. Today it was the best experiance I ever had! My fins were shaped like a fether :). My nosecone was shape like a mushtash hahahahah!!!!!!!!! what I learned is that the smaller the nosecones the farthere the rocket goes. Also the wings have to be the right size. And at 15 dgrees and 0 dgrees it goes faster:).
