Halloween Acitivities Promote Exercise

SES Halloween MorgueSES Halloween Bowling

Shelby Elementary School Physical Education Teacher, Tyler Rollin, wants students to love physical exercise and see it as an enjoyable part of everyday life. To encourage healthy habits during the Halloween season, Coach Rollin set up a wide array of fun activity stations in the Shelby Elementary Gym. From bowling pins decorated with “spooky” faces, to a “haunted  morgue” the gym was filled with inviting and fun Halloween activities. Halloween music thumped in the background and notified kids of when to move to the next station.

“Kids quickly forgot that they were exercising and did what kids do best, they played,” said Principal Stacy Aderholt.
