The Chelsea Highs School Journalism Department will sponsor the 20^th Annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant on December 14. The pageant is open to all girls who live in Shelby County.

There are five categories: Birth to 4 year olds; 5k to 2^nd grade; 3^rd to 5^th grade; 6^th to 8^th grade; and 9^th to 12^th grade.

Proceeds are used by the Journalism Department to purchase technology used in the production of monthly newspaper. Proceeds from previous pageants have been used to purchase six computers, two digital cameras, two laser jet printers and other supplies need to produce the paper.

The pageant will be held December 14 at 2:30 p.m. at Chelsea High School.  There is a $25 entry fee for contestants and a $5 admission fee atttendees. The deadline to register is December 4.
