Montevallo Middle School students Avery Lawley and Polly Holsomback were recently recognized as Students of the Month for December for a unique community service idea that is benefiting fellow students at their school.  Avery and Polly created The Care Closet where faculty and students may donate gently used coats, hats, and gloves to be redistributed to MMS students in need.  On Monday night, December 16, Avery and Polly were recognized by Montevallo Mayor Hollie Cost for their effort.
