Stan Brown will be the new Payroll Supervisor for the Shelby County School District.  Brown was previously serving as the district’s School to Career Resource Specialist.

Mr. Brown spent 25 years in the banking industry, serving in leadership positions in Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.  Mr. Brown entered the education field as a bookkeeper/secretary for Florence High School.  He also served as a Business/Marketing Education teacher at Hueytown High School.  He joined the Shelby County School District in August 2010 as a Business/Marketing teacher.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Education from the University of North Alabama.
