The Shelby County College & Career Center (SCCCC) will be hosting an Open House on October 23 for members of the business, industry, and post-secondary community.
According to Russ Cofield, the purpose of the event is to showcase the school’s programs, to establish additional business and industry partnerships, and to help students develop relationships with potential employers.
“The Business/Industry Open House will provide an opportunity to tour our campus, meet our students and faculty members, and learn more about the college and career standards we have established,” said Cofield. “Our goal is to strengthen relationships with local industries through advisory council memberships and connections to campus events such as our annual Career Expo/Open House for current and prospective students.”
