Miranda Martin from Montevallo Middle School won first place for her project in the Math and Computer Science division at the Central Alabama Regional Science Fair (CARSEF) held recently at UAB. The project was selected as one of the best among the 8th grade Physical Science projects.
Martin’s project determined the relationship in sheet music between beats per minutes and notes in milliseconds using RFID (Radiofrequency ID ) system. She is now qualified to go to the Alabama Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF) to be held March 31-April 2 at UAH in Huntsville.
