The Shelby County Schools Superintendent’s Art Exhibit was held on Tuesday, March 24 and featured a gallery of artwork from the county’s best young artists.   Over 40 pieces of artwork were submitted to the juried show and winners were recognized on both the county and state levels.

Fifteen submissions from Shelby County were chosen for exhibition at the State Visual Arts Show in Montgomery and were on public display in the Old Supreme Court Building during the month of February.

Supervisor of Fine Arts, Michelle Hall, praised the student work and the dedication of the teachers.  “Shelby County is fortunate to have talented and committed teachers who foster creative thinking within their students. “
