Calera Intermediate School wrapped up the year with the completion of a restoration project for the city. Ms. Lindsey Irvin’s 4th Grade GRC class was the recipient of The Jenice Riley Memorial Scholarship Fund grant from The Alabama Humanities Foundation at the beginning of the year. After much work hard work and collaboration the students finished the pathway around the bell structure on Tuesday. The approximately 130 year old bell in now permanently on display in The Akridge Arboretum Park in Calera next to the school.
