Montevallo Middle School continues to show that it is committed to cultural awareness and diversity. On Nov. 12, MMS seventh graders in Civics and Geography classes had the opportunity to engage in conversation with a Palestinian exchange student attending The Islamic Academy of Alabama. The student guest touched on an array of topics about her life in Palestine, including the state’s demographics, education, culture, religion, and politics.
