SOCIAL STUDIES
We are continuing our study of The Great Depression, the Dust Bowl and Franklin D. Roosevelt in Chapter 25. Students were given their 2nd Nine Weeks Study Guide last Tuesday, Dec 7th, in an effort to begin studying for the exam.

Social Studies 2nd Nine Weeks Exam is Wednesday, December 15th!

I have encouraged students to make sure all make-up work and missing assignments are taken care of before we leave for Christmas break! Please check STI and remind your student to check with me for makeup work.

SCIENCE
Chapter 17 tests were returned to students today and posted to STI. Grades on the test were great and I was pleased with their performance! We will continue working with weather maps this week, including creating our own weather map of the United States.

Parents! Please be aware that Shelby County Schools will be dismissed at 1:00pm on Friday, December 17th!

Only 5 more days until Christmas Break! Remember our motto: WORK HARD!
