wow, wow, wow, how time has flown as one writes journals…
“grimm’s brothers fairy tales” – can’t remember if i mentioned that i got it on nook last week – anyway, it’s 600 pages, so i’m still reading it – although i got a good bit read yesterday at the sec championship game (easy to do when i could care less who wins:)
after, oh, about 200 pages, all the stories sort of run together – things are never as they seem, there’s always a set of “impossible” tasks that have to be done, and everything always works out happily ever after – while i like the stories and think they’d be good for middle school, again, the length is rather daunting
started “shine” by the newsboys – one of my more favorite music groups – the book is how to be light in a dark world – whether it means to call people out or to live a silent testimony – sort of that tention
as for magazines, i read SI’s feature on drew brees – their sportsman of the year – not much more i didn’t know from reading brees’ book – but still good – the article about the other members of the miami heat (aka, not lebron and the gang) was good too

I am reading Vampire Knight.
So far, there has been a few introduction of characters, like yuki and Zero of the Disciplinary commitee. Also, the story has introduced the night class and how they are all beautiful, with one dark secret. The only group of the night classw, is a group of vampires. No one else knows the secret about the night class, so thats why Zero and Yuki are there.
I recently reread the Harry Potter series and I remember The Soccer’s Stone very clearly. Just before the start of the novel, Voldemort, the most powerful Dark wizard in history, killed Harry’s parents but mysteriously vanished after trying to kill Harry. While the wizarding world is celebrating Voldemort’s disapperance, Professor Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid place the one year-old orphan in the care of his Muggle (non-wizard) aunt and uncle, Vernon and Petunia Dursley.
For ten years, they and their son Dudley bully Harry. Shortly before Harry’s eleventh birthday, a series of letters addressed to Harry arrive, but Vernon destroys them before Harry can read them. To get away from the letters, Vernon takes the family to a lonely island. As they are settling in, Hagrid bursts through the door to tell Harry what the Dursleys have kept him from finding out: Harry is a wizard and has been accepted at Hogwarts.
Hagrid takes Harry to Diagon Alley, a magically-hidden shopping place in London, where Harry is shocked to discover how famous he is among wizards as “the boy who lived.” He also finds that he is quite wealthy, since a lot of money he has inherited from his parents has remained on deposit at Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Guided by Hagrid, he buys the books and equipment he needs for Hogwarts. At the wand shop, he finds that the only wand that works well for him is the twin of Voldemort’s – both wands contain feathers from the same Phoenix.( Which later on in the series he finds out that it is Fawks, Dumbledore’s Phoenix)
A month later, Harry leaves the Dursleys’ home to catch the Hogwarts Express from King’s Cross station. There he meets the Weasley family, who show him how to pass through the wall to Platform 9 3/4 where the train is waiting. While on the train Harry makes friends with Ron Weasley, who tells him that someone tried to rob a vault at Gringotts. Another new student, Draco Malfoy, along with Crabbe and Goyle, offers to “help” Harry, but Harry dislikes Draco right away and rejects him.
Before the term’s first dinner in the school’s Great Hall, the new students are put into houses by the magical Sorting Hat. When it is Harry’s turn to be sorted, the Hat wonders whether he should be in Slytherin, but when Harry objects, the Hat sends him to join the Weasleys in Gryffindor. While Harry is eating, Professor Snape catches his eye and Harry feels a sudden stab of pain in the scar Voldemort left on his forehead.
After a horrible first Potions lesson with Snape, Harry and Ron visit Hagrid, who lives in a small house on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. There they learn that the attempted robbery at Gringotts happened the day Harry withdrew money. Harry remembers that Hagrid had removed a small package from the vault that was broken into and searched.
During the new students’ first broom-flying lesson, Neville Longbottom breaks his wrist, and Draco takes advantage to throw the forgetful Neville’s fragile Remembrall high in the air. Harry chases it down on his broomstick, catching the Remembrall inches from the ground. Professor McGonagall dashes out and appoints him as the new Seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
i am reading Ramona’s World by: BEVERLY CLEARY. i am going to do a character story. Ramona’s story.
Ramona is a 9 year old girl who has brown hair and brown eyes. She has a sister named Beatrice but the family calls her Beezus. the best part is that Ramona has a baby sister named Roberta and Roberta is only 2 months old.this year is Ramona’s 4th grade year and she can’t wait to tell her great news with all her best friends. the day finally came and Ramona was waiting at the bus stop. she was the first one there and she was always early. when she got on the bus she sat across from a boy named Yard Ape. Ramona told him about her little sister. she tried not to smile so he wouldn’t know she liked him.
Hey, i left off with The 4th book of the Percy Jackson and the Oolympian series. I left off with Percy escaping the scene at school and running into Annabeth. Rachel gave him her phone number so he could explain everything that was going on. They take a taxi and are taken to half-blood hill and when they arrive they are met by Chiron. Chiron is the director of activities at the camp and he is a centaur which is a half horse, half human thing. They notice how all the people were preparing for battle. Whats happening is they are preparing for the battle against Kronos the titan of time and his minions. He tells them everything that’s going on and Percy goes to his cabin. He gets inside and notices that his brother, The cyclopes, is in the cabin cleaning their cabin.

hey tonight i picked up sabbotaged again and so far the thirty pages i have read are wonderfull. andrea finds out that she is virginia dare. she was the first child born in the new world. i cant wait to move on an find out what happened to the lost colony of the roanoke. virginias dad sails back to britan and gets some more supplies. when he comes back he sees that his daughter and everyone else is gone. i know what happened in the book to his daughter. she was timenapped and taken to the year twothousand and something.

Ok, I’m on Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Book 4. i left offwhen annabeth and Percy arrive at camp to find their camp preparing for the war against Kronos. He goes to his cabin and is greeted by his cyclopes brother, Tyson. Tyson is cleaning and Percy puts his stuff down. then he goes to the sword arena soo he could practice on his sword skills. When he gets their he finds a 30 foot tall hellhound chewing on a dummy. He thinks it over and he charges the hellhound. Before he can attack the dummy a sword comes out and deflects it away so it would not hit the dog. When he turns to see who it is he sees a middle aged man named Quintus. This guy is the camps director because Dionysious, the usual director is out helping the other gods with the war. Percy then notices the purple thing on his neck that is actually the shape of a bird. all of a sudden Clarisse starts to come down their.

Whoops! I read from my last blog that I wrote Soccer’s Stone instead of Sorcerer’s Stone. Anyway where I left off is where Harry was just annouced the Seeker. When Draco tricks Ron and Harry, Neville and Hermione Granger, they accidentally enter a forbidden corridor and find a huge three-headed dog. They run in terror, and Hermione noticed that the dog was standing over a trap-door. Harry guesses that the monster is guarding the package Hagrid got from Gringotts.
After Ron makes fun of Hermione’s grades in Charms, she hides in the girls’ bathroom. Professor Quirrell reports that a troll has entered the dungeons. While everyone else returns to their dormitories, Harry and Ron rush to warn Hermione. The troll corners Hermione in the bathroom but when Harry sticks his wand up his nose( which is really nasty), and Ron has the troll knock itself out with its own club. Afterwards, several professors arrive and Hermione takes the blame for the incident and becomes friendswith Harry and Ron.
The evening before Harry’s first Quidditch match, he sees Snape get medical attention from Filch for a bite on his leg by the three-headed dog. During the game, Harry’s broomstick goes out of control, endangering his life, and Hermione notices that Snape is staring at Harry and muttering. She dashes over to the Professors’ stand, knocking over Professor Quirrel in the process, and sets fire to Snape’s robe. Harry regains control of his broomstick and catches the Golden Snitch, winning the game for Gryffindor. Hagrid refuses to believe that Snape was responsible for Harry’s danger, but lets slip that he bought the three-headed dog, and that the monster is guarding a secret that belongs to Professor Dumbledore and someone called Nicolas Flamel.
Harry and the Weasleys stay at Hogwarts for Christmas, and one of Harry’s presents, from an anonymous person, is an Invisibility Cloak. Harry uses the Cloak to search the library’s Restricted Section for information about the mysterious Flamel, he has to go around Snape and Filch after an enchanted book shrieks an alarm, and slips into a room containing the Mirror of Erised, which shows his parents and several of their ancestors. Harry becomes addicted to the Mirror’s visions and is rescued by Professor Dumbledore, who explains that it shows what the viewer most desperately longs for.
When the rest of the pupils return for the next term, Draco plays a prank on Neville, and Harry offers Neville with a sweet. The collectible card wrapped with the sweet identifies Flamel as an alchemist. Hermione soon finds that he is a 665-year-old man who possesses the only known Socerer’s stone, from which can be extracted an elixir of life. A few days later Harry notices Snape sneaking towards the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest. There he half-hears a conversation about the Socerer’s Stone, in which Snape asks Professor Quirrell if he has found a way past the three-headed dog and tells Quirrell to decide whose side hes on. Harry thinks that Snape is trying to steal the Stone and Quirrell has prepared defences for it.
The three friends discover that Hagrid is raising a baby dragon, which is against wizard law, and arrange to smuggle it out of the country around midnight. Draco arrives, hoping to raise the alarm and get them into trouble, and Neville comes to warn them of Draco’s mischief. Although Ron is bitten by the dragon and is sent to the infirmary, Harry and Hermione spirit the dragon safely away. However, they are caught, and Harry loses the Invisibility Cloak. As part of their punishment, Harry, Hermione, Draco and Neville are forced to help Hagrid to rescue a badly-injured unicorn in the Forbidden Forest. They split into two groups, and Harry and Draco find the unicorn dead, surrounded by its blood. A hooded figure crawls to the body and drinks the blood, while Draco screams and runs away. The hooded figure moves towards Harry, who is knocked out from the pain spreading from his scar. When Harry regains consciousness, the hooded figure has gone and a centaur, Firenze, offers to give him a ride back to the school. The centaur tells Harry that drinking a unicorn’s blood will save the life of a mortally injured person, but leave them only barely alive. Firenze suggests Voldemort drank the unicorn’s blood to gain enough strength to make the elixir of life from the Philosopher’s Stone, and regain full health by drinking that. when he gets back to school, Harry finds that someone has slipped the Invisibility Cloak under his sheets.
A few weeks later, while relaxing after the end-of-session examinations, Harry suddenly wonders how something as illegal as a dragon’s egg came to Hagrid. The gamekeeper says he was given it by a hooded stranger who bought him several drinks and asked him how to get past the three-headed dog, which Hagrid admits is easy – music sends it to sleep. Realising that one of the Socerer’s Stone’s defences isn’t safe anymore, Harry goes to tell Professor Dumbledore, only to find that the headmaster has just left for an important meeting. Harry thinks that Snape faked the message that called Dumbledore away and will try to steal the Stone that night. That is all I’m going to say about Harry Potter number 1.

HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY!! Wow I sound a little hyper….. I was out of school yesterday because I had strep throat. I felt terrible all during the week but now I feel fine. Did you miss me on Monday Mafeld??? (: Sadly when I am sick I dont read much.. I am asleep the whole time. Since I did not blog yesterday I will blog for 10 minutes today. YAY!
I left off with Gale being whipped and he was at Katniss’ house where her mom was making her better. He has recovered by now and Katniss was thinking about running away. While Gale was hurt Katniss’ was thinkning and she realized that she actually wants to start an uprising. It wont be a problem for her since she has been breaking the law her whole life. A bad blizzard hits the district and everybody is left inside for days. Katniss calls Peeta and tells him that she needs to talk to him so they both agree to talk to each other after the blizzard has passed. IT lasts for three days. Maybe more depending on if I payed attention correctly… Katniss leaves her house to talk to Peeta where she realizes that armed peacekeepers are lining the streets waiting to kill people if they do something wrong. She thought it would look the same after the blizzard but I guess she was wrong.. She goes to Peeta’s house and then Katniss and Peeta go on a walk.
When Katniss and Peeta are walking she sees the peacekeepers blow a house up. Now that the peacekeepers are here people are starving, they dont have homes, and they get sick. Katniss doesnt tell Peeta her plan about starting an uprising yet. But after Katniss and Peeta have there conversation she decides to go out in the woods. She is not allowed to but she goes under the fence that leads to the woods after the peacekeepers are away. She slides under a walks a bit until she hears somebody stay stop and she hears the click of a gun getting ready to shoot. She turns around and it is a Peacekeeper.

Well, it has been a long time since i have done this so here it goes!!! I have been reading Matilda, by Roald Dahl. I will compare this book to Max the Mighty. They have in common is that the main characters are both girls. They are both really smart and love Books. Matilda goes to a very bad school and they treats there kids horribly while Worm goes to an OK school just with some bullies. They also have differences in that Matilda dad wont buy hear books or doesn’t like for her too read books, he called them flaming books because he thinks he is so smart and Matilda is dumb while Worm can read all she wants and doesn’t get in trouble, just some bullies. I have nothing else to compare so i will just tell the authors propose about Matilda. The author is trying to get a message that he wants you to know that Matilda is a very smart kid and she likes to read but her dad wont even buy her a book, so he might be trying to say take care of what you have and what she cant. well, i am done! by the way i did 10 minutes today! :~)

Okayy so i am doing three ’cause i did not do one yester day and i have to make up for the days that i was not here on. So nayways i am going to read the book The Yearling. I hope that it is good because it is really wide and not all that thick but here we go. By the way i am doing a something blog. No i am doing a compare book to something i have read. So now here goes.
Okay well i am comparing this book to something i read last year with my other gt teacher Mrs. Bentley and see we read a book called Goober Joe. Now i know it sounds weird but it is a really good book. But anyways i am comparing the first paragraph to like the first chapter in Goober Joe see it is talking about a boy named Jody and the smoke rising from the chimney of the cabin and well see in Goober joe they lived in a cabin but it wasn’t theirs. Another way it is similar is the mom was hanging up pots and pans and the boy’s mom in Goober Joe was always doing something with the pots and pans. And the last reason they are alike is see he hoes the land and in Goober Joe the boy hoed the land also. Wait i have one more reason and it si that he thought he was lucky if he got to scrub the ti-ti brrom until it was clean.

Okay so Jody had his pov changed by going outside thinking he could mess around with the bees in their home while they were in there with the honey eating it and when he got out there he realized that he can’t because they were out and about flying from flower to flower. Another way he got his pov changed was also when he went outside but not for the same reas he went outside so he could hoe up the land but he realized he didn’t have a lot to do so he procrastonated and put it off untill the next day. Well that was for today now i have two more to make up for the days that i was gone!!! 🙁

Okay same book but as u know probaly a diffrent type of journal. Change of plans i got a really good comaprison to a book i read in fifth grade but for the life of me i can not remember the name any ways at the end of the story they captured monkeys and well see the put them in a corn crib. because you know back in the old days that was where i think they would put like animals like monkeys, dogs etc. But in the Yearling they, and by they i mean Jody and his dad, were talking about how when Jody was just a little kid he had hounds, and he still does, that were little just like him and see he hurt the girl out of them so they had to lock them up in the corn crib and that is where they share something in common.
this was for one of the days i was absent by the way The Yearling so far is pretty good!!!
I read about Harry Gilmer tonight. harry Gilmer played defensive back at alabama for 3 years. i’ll do a class theme relation, change. When Gilmer first started at bama he was last on the depth charts. He got better in practices. Eventually he moved up to# 2 spot. when the starter was injured he got his chance. He was the starter for the rest of his college carreer. 🙂

I an reading the book mosters of morley mannor. they are running from the family thats trying to take over the world i think that would be hard to keep up with a wearhuman. he touched a electric fence when he was younger now thats just sounds a little like me and what i would do. It sounds like a nightmear he’s running down a hall and the walls start bulging out towrds him. Some weird animal is chasing him around the mannor. Alot of those things are chasing him around I would be scared half to death if those chased me. Finaly he gets out of the mannor. He’s in some weird place of grassy green fields all around him. I am reading Ramona’s World. I am doing a character story. Ramona’s story. Ramona is in 4th grade and it is her 2nde day of school. the second day was not the best day for Ramona. when she came in that morning she saw spelling words on board and knew at first it can’t be good if you have spelling words on the 2nd day of school. Then she noticed that most of the words that were on the board were the words she misspelled on the 1st day of school!! Then she slid right down in her seat.All of her classmates started to laugh at her and she felt her face getting hotter. On the playground some of her friends came and told her about how they aren’t the best spellers eathier. that made her feel better. then when she got home her time at home wasn’t the best eathier.

When they get to the fied he sees 3 satyrs(Half human Half goat), annabeth, a tree nymph, Clarisse, and Grover the satyr. Grover was the first godly friend he ever had before this book. You could say they were best friends.
Wow. I am SCARED!! I have realized that I am more like my brother than I thought. I talked to some of my brother’s teachers today and they said I was EXACTLY like him.. AAAAHHHHHHH!!! This is Terrible. Another thing I just realized is that I listen to the same kind of music that my brother listens to. I listen to rock bands and “stuff” I dont listen to what everybody else listens to but I listen to the same “stuff” as my brother!! AAHHHHH!!!! Oh well I guess I need to blog for five minutes to get my mind off of this terrible terrible thing….. 🙁

We have left off with Katniss going out into the woods which she is not allowed to do and she has been caught by a peacekeeper who is holding a gun at her head….. Does she get shot in the head???? NO!!!!! It might make it a little more interesting if Katniss got shot in the head but Katniss is our main character and the book would have some issues if the main character died..
So what really happened is the peacekeeper holds out a piece of bread and it has a mockingjay on it. Katniss looks at the Peacekeeper and asks what it meant and the peacekeeper said it means that we are on your side. The peacekeeper was a girl about Katniss’ age and it turns out that the Peacekeeper wasnt really a peacekeeper at all… The main character didnt die so I guess we have to stick with this. Katniss figures out that these people living out in the woods were from district 8. The ran away when the uprising started. Katniss was invited to their home where she learns that these people are starving and needing food. So she grabs her handy dandy bag of food and gives the people food. She then sits down and starts talking with them

I am still freaked out about being like my brother….. This is like my worst nightmare coming true.. SCREAM!!! Blogging didnt make me feel better… Awwww. Man….

Hiya. Well, like Julie, I was out of school on Monday too, and last night I had absolutely NO time to blog, so i guess I will blog for 10 minutes tonight and 10 minutes tomorrow night. Here it goes!
Okayy, so I think that I left you hanging again with the random tiger and crazy Harry being good friends. So blah blah, they are friends and then one day when the tiger found a female tiger and wanted to hang out with the tiger instead of with Harry. Now this book is very random and dumb, but I don’t really have much else to read. Anyway!! So then the two tigers begin to date I guess is how you would say it. Then Harry gets all freaked out because he is scared that the tiger will leave him and they not b friends anymore. WEIRD!!! His only friend is a tiger. Then he tells the tiger how he feels and the tiger is like,” I would never do that.” Okay so I really hope that we all agree that this book is really dumb and random!

wow it is hard ot believe that it has already been almost eightteen weeks of school that we have been there. well as fast as the year is going by i will be in high school in no time. alright well i guess i should start the actual journal now because if i dont then i will just sit here and talk all day about stuff that has nothing to do with reading. this week i am still reading the book house of the scorpions but not any more because it is overdue and i have to tace it back or pay ahuge fine because for some reason i cant seem to keep up with dates very well. I discovered that emilia and maria,s mother are still alive. And i am now trying to figure out what emelia was protecting maria from when she lied to her about there mother. because emilia told her that there mother had gotten lost. and after all this time of reading this book i finally found out what an eejit is because i noticed that every body didnt like the clones for some reason i dont know what they had done but none seemed to like them because the word eejit was a slang wotd that they used to describe the clones. this writer definately has their own style because they wrote this book like it was a journal or diary, but without the dates i tjust has the ages before a few chapters matt was severely ill and he was secluded to himself and it seems that he has become phsycotic because every little noise sets him off. matt is strapped down to a bed in a room full of machinery so with all of those noises you know that he is constantly because of all of the noise. well that is all that i have for tonight and i will talk to you later…… well tommorrow. bye . Okay I just finished a book called Charlie Bone and the Beast. Charlie Bone and his Uncle Paton are visiting Charlie’s old house while his parents are out whale watching. While in there he finds that his whole upstairs floor area was ripped up and they find that there were people inside the house earlier. When Charlie goes to Bloors Academy he finds a new boy is there that he has to guide around. His name is Dagbert Endless because his last names are “as endless as the seas”. Dagbert’s endowment is to drown other people, controlling water. Dagbert has to be around Charlie all the time, so he starts to drive his friends away by insulting them. Later Charlie finds out that his great Aunt Venita is getting married to a man who has two little children.
Meanwhile, there is a weird howling that the whole town could hear. The town decides to call it the “wilderness wolf” and thinks that it’s dangerous. When Charlie goes home for the weekend his Uncle gets bitten by a creature outside their house. He claims that the things were defiantly not a wolf as everyone else thought, but more of a human. When the town holds a meeting, Charlie’s friend Benjamin thinks of the idea that Charlie’s classmate Asa Pike might be the creature since earlier he betrayed Manfred Bloor and helped Charlie get his father back. Charlie’s great Aunt Venita dropped her new children at Indiglews bookshop. Little Erik was endowed, but Miranda was not.
When Charlie goes back to Bloors he is told by Billy Raven that the Wilderness Wolf is shouting “Help”. When there is gunshots one night Billy tells Charlie that he heard it howl “Father”. Later that week Charlie wakes up to his friend Naren sending the message goodbye. When he tried to talk back Dagbert sees the message and Charlie confronts him. While talking Dagbert experiences wild things, such as glowing and pain. He keeps telling Charlie to get his Sea Gold Creatures from under his pillow. When he gets better Dagbert explains how it is his birthday and how he is now more powerful then his father. When Charlie goes home for the weekend Benjamin explains his plan about Asa Pike and Charlie thinks that that could be right. He decides that he has to help Asa because Asa risked everything to help him and his father. So he, Olivia and Runner Bean go into the forest looking for him. Instead they find Asa’s mother as they realize that Asa’s father was shot and was now dead. On their way across a dangerous metal bridge the water rises so high that Runner Bean was washed away. Charlie’s wand ends up helping them from drowning and Charlie sees the red knight across the bridge. Benjamin goes off to find Runner Bean and Charlie and Olivia bring Mrs. Pike to the Pet’s Cafe. There she explains her story of how she thought that Asa would be good at Bloors Academy with Manfred as his friend, but they explained how they took him away because of how he betrayed them. Charlie leaves and remembers that he has to pick up Billy’s Rat from a Kettle store. When he gets there the lady gives him a strange kettle that gets warm when he was in danger.
Charlie and Billy make a plan to go save Asa from under ground. When they go they see Asa in his beast form, but Charlie finds that Billy lost his endowment. They decide that he needs to change back into his human form before they can talk to him. When Billy uses his special candles and Charlie uses his moth, and Asa turns into his human form as they leave the area. They see the Red Knight and they agree that Asa should go with him, yet Asa just thanks Charlie for helping him and leaves. That’s the book. 😉 🙂 :p 8) 😀

tuesday: i read sabotaged again. so far the point of view hasnt changed at all in this story. if it ever does i hope it changes to andrea aka virginia dare. she would probably be scared and on edge. she just saw her village and it was all in ruins. but if it does change to jonahs sister because she is only twelve.
wednesday: i think the authors point of writing this story is to entertain. she keeps her readers on edge. in the oter books she wrote she kept alot of secrets and it slowly ties together. what she wrote that i dont like is that she uses like an entire chapter to fill in the people who didnt read the first two books.

I am still reading Ramona’s World. I hope it is okay that i do another character story Ramona’s story.
last time i bloged i told you that ramona went home from her 2nd day of school and was mad that her teacher embarrassed her so badly.but then her mother told her it would make her feel better if she told her mom what she was mad about, and it did make Ramona feel better. actually a whole lot better!!! Afterwards, Ramona stuck her tongueat her little baby sister Robeta. but to Ramona’s suprise, Roberta stuck her tongue out too!! Then she realized she wasn’t as mad anymore and she felt tyhe best she has ever been the very next day.
hey mr. mayfeild im going to blog for ten minutes on the book the mosters of morley mannor on the authors purpose. So i left off were hhe was getting chased by some wierd animals and he gets away. I think he included this part i was standing in a green feild with red flowers because he may have had a little sister that always drew green feilds and flowers. I think he included this part that that flower cut him like a paper cut he would always get paper cuts in school. i think he said thats the law of magic because he always played like magic was real. I think he included this part quikly fowllow me because he was alwas following sombody at all times. I think he included that the ground was spiongy under his feet because he loved trampolines like me i like breaking arms on them.
Last time i told you how ramona felt a whole lot better the very next day. then she came home the next day running all the way from the bus stopto tell her mom something. Daisy Kidd asked me to come over to play at her house and that Daisy’s parents would drop her off after dinner… before her mother could say a word ramona qwas begging until her mom said yes.. at daisy’s house ramona noticed that her house was a two-story house. right outside the front door they were greeted by Mutley, daisy’s dog. then inside, her mother was very nice and then she saw a cat outside on the porch enjoying the patch of sun. the cats name was CLAWED not the name claude. right after Daisy’s big brother Jeremy came in and sat down to watch tv. the only person left to meet in the Kidd family is mr.kidd. i wonder how this will go.
Ok so hey. I’m on Percy Jackson and the Battle of the Labyrinth and I left off as he arrives at the sword arena and meets Quintus and his 30 foot tall hellhound named Mrs. Oleary and he sees Clarisse practice then Chiron comes and takes him to the place where he finds 3 Satyrs, Grover the Satyr, Clarisse, Annabeth, and a tree nymph. They go and sit by Grover and they listen to what the 3 head satyrs have to say. Percy notices that the tree nymph is crying and Annabeth notices this and mouths the words- Grover’s Girlfriend-. They were talking about an incident that happened last year where they were in new mexico and grover was sitting aand Pan, the god of the wilderness, spoke to him. Since it is every Satyrs dream to find Pan they all went in search for here because they believe the god is lost so this was major for Grover. They were threatning to take away his searchers liscence.
Mr. Mayfield I actually wrote for 10 minutes last night instead of 5. Just had to let you know. That was why I had written a lot more….

K, song of today is Young by Hollywood Undead, and i cant remember where i was in whatever book i was reading, so ill do harry potter 5 (order of the pheonix) btw the first HP was origionally the philosophers stone jsyk. Soo . . . Ill do authors. its to entertain and create a huge fan world/obsession which led to a website (link is on my name)
next…. comparison? harry potter is like percy jackson bc they both have a genius shefriend, and a weak malefriend. They both suffer under higher-ups, pj Mr.D, hp Snape. the both have to put up with being chosen and snide comments.
next, summary, from the top on harry potter. It starts with harry under uncle vernons window, listening to the news. someone apparates (which is LOUD), which startles harry and uncle vernon. vernon tries to choke him, he releases him, then harry runs for da choppah… erm, for a street where dudley is walking home with friends after beating up a ten year old. harry threatens him with his wand (RUN!!!) but dementors come to them, which makes everrything black and foggy. dudley thinks its harry, but harry produces a patronus, which chases off the dementors, but dudley has already been ‘kissed’, which means his soul was sucked out, but he wasnt completely kissed, so he still is… not great, but alive. ms figg comes and helps harry carry dudley home (by supervising 🙂 ) they get home, dudley pukes, the ministry of magic sends an owl telling him his wand is useless and that he is expelled from hogwarts. then a letter comes from mr weasley, telling him the opposite. then the ministry sends a letter cancelling the other letter. last, a howler (angreh message) comes to aunt petunia, telling her to remember the last something (it doesnt clarify 🙁 ) he stays at #4 privet drive, until the advance guard (good dudes) come to take him to #12 grimmuland place, sirius’s house. ron and hermione are there, but harry gets really ticked at them for not writing to him during the summer. they say dumbledore said not to, so they didnt. they attempt to listen to the order of the pheonix (more good guys) but harry is told to come down and talk. thats it for now. byeeeee
hey Mr. Mayfield i haven’t blogged in a while so i am going to tonight.
I am reading *Models Don’t eat Chocolate Cookies*. so far in the book it has been talking about how a obese kid named Celeste Harris is getting picked on by so perky preppy skinny people because of her weight. Even her grandmother thinks that she is fat because she entered her in a pageant for over-weight children. Now what kind of Grandmother would do that. Anyways, Celeste decided that she she was crowned miss chubby Queen that she was going to give up her chocolate cookie obsession to shrink down and try to fit in. Which in my opinion I don’t think she should because you shouldn’t change yourself to impress others because it don’t really matter what they think.

hey i read sabotaged again. tonight they find the only clue left behind by the roanoke colony. the word croatan writen on the side of a log. katherine gives a long speech about the history of the roanoke and then andrea starts crying because the place they found really was the roanoke colony. after that jonah starts to fiddle with the dog dares collar. dare was a dog that was sent back in time with them.it turns out that the place that held the elucidator wasnt loose and andrea lost it on porpose. well thats my five minutes.
In my book Game of my life, i think the authors point of view is to entertain you. he really entertains me, of course im a really big football fan. He also wants you to try to guess what will happen in the player sgames. DONE
I have been reading the book, taken. its about a girl who is kidnapped by a group of mexican paramedics. She flashes back many times to happy times. she even had classes back in her school about kidnapping because there were so many. she lived in the safest neighborhood in the usa and still got napped as she would call it.

As always i put myself in your position and talk. If i were you i wouldnt care if i got shot leaving the ambulance. You knw that they probably wont do anything because if they do the deal will be off and they dont get money. also, how many people can an ambulance hold five or six. there’s not that many so i would atleast make a break for it. if they shoot you, they shoot you. theyre not going to make you suffer so it will either be a one shot one kill or they just dont shoot at all. boo yah. i may have just saved the day for you. but theres still a whole lot of reading to be done so i will soon find out if you follow my advice.
i think that the reasoning of this book was to tell the reader to always be prepared. dont go into anyones car if you dont know them. if an ambulance comes make sure that your mom, dad, or guardian goes with you. make sure to check the ambulance’s personel license. remember to alwyas be prepared and never ever go into an ambulance. tell the driver that you want to ride with your parent. also, if an ambulance comes to your house for no reason and says that they got a phone call that the girl is sick, this is for you parents, dont let em go.
i think that this book compares pretty well to the movie taken. who knows if they made the book or movie about one or the other. they both have basically the same plot. plot is the things that happen in a story. i saw the movie and the girl is kidnapped at the beginning. its the same for the book. but the story in the movie is told from the dad and the book is told from the girl. in the book the girls dad is hardly ever home but in movie the dad takes action and saves the girl. the thing the story is about is being kidnapped and they both have that in common.
Brodie Croyle was perhaps one of the best alabama QB’s in alabamas 2000 decade. people think that he ruined the season. But, ithink that he is a very good qb.

hey. I feel horrible! I was at home sick today and I couldn’t go to school or dance. 🙁 sad face. I really really hope that I get to go to school tomorrow! I hate fevers!!!! Grrrrrr. Well Mr. Mayfield, if I don’t get to come to school tomorrow, I am just going to tell you now that I am sick, and I am going to blog for 10 minutes tonight that way I can get my 20 minutes. Here it goes!
So I think that I left off with Harry telling the tiger how he felt, and so the tiger is like, “I would never do that!” Weird! Random! So Harry is like alright, I believe you. Now the tiger won’t even talk to him. All he ever does is hang with his tiger, or guurl. haha. Anyway, then one day, Harry finds the two tigers in the woods, and goes up to them and says that they haven’t talked since the tiger said that they would never be apart. Now the tiger begins to get a little annoyed with Harry always, how you would say, nagging him about hanging with his guurl too much, and decides to tell him that they should hang with other people for a while. Harry was sad, and went home. Now I don’t really know about you, but I say that this book puts the dumb(dom) in RANDOM! Wow that was cheesy.
Well, that was 10, and I am not tired and want to get some rest that way I can feel better tomorrow. Bye
I have been reading colonel frazier’s book Hell’s Guest. Very good book and its really nice to look into the eyes of a real ww2 soldier who fought, and almost died defending our country.
alternate ending
its really not cool to think of an alternate ending for a win in a war and us soldier surviving but here goes
Frazier was stationed in the phillipines where he met many weird people. most new things that were introduced to him, he denied. this alternate ending is going to be him accepting all of the new things and the outcome of it all.
There were two boys there in the street pimping there mother and sisters. saying that for 10 pesos they would take them back to the house (no joke, that is really true. it happened). so for 10 pesos Frazier went with the boys back to the house. needless to say the things happened and he decided to go back to the base. there he was met with his commanding officer who asked him what he had been doing. frazier thought that it was ok to tell him so he did. the commanding officer told him that prosecution was completely illegal in the phillipines so he discharged him then and there. Frazier never got the chance to do anything very important after that but he got back in time to save his girl friend from getting married.

Frazier and his friends came in looking for a hog to kill. which i was totally ok with, unless it was me and my family. when he started to bring that gun up on my wife and children i kinda freaked out and started to charge at them. this of course freaked them out and they started to shoot at me which made me very mad and made me even more dangerous. finally after many bullets being shot at me and i wasnt dead, they decided to pack up and go somewhere else. i defended my family so im very happy

Hey!!! I just finished *The Thief Lord* this week! If I chose the ending, it would have been like this ( now look at the kewboard and pretend to be deep in thought.) Scipio goes to the Us and starts a busniss that makes alot of $! Victor marries Ida and they adopt the 4 kids that stay with them. Moscar and Riccio go with Scipio. They come to visit Ida every now & then.

Ok This is a personal opinion of mine but CAILEA gets Sick to much… I feel like This blog is an account of all her “Sicknesses” She wasnt at school today so if she was sick we will probally learn about that too… Julie has been talking to herself in third person lately and it is kinda freak Julie out. Julie read a lot in Catching Fire over the weekend which was pretty awesome because I havent been reading a lot lately.. Julie feels Caught up on her reading now.. SO… Because Julie read a lot.. Julie will give Mr.Mayfield the honor of reading 10 minutes of her Awesomeness..!!
MONDAY!!!!!!
I left off with Katniss talking to the strange people in the woods.. I have forgotten their names But they were strange people in the woods. She was talking to them and they came from District Eight of Four I am not sure.. She asked them what they were doing and another uprising happened in their district. Katniss finds out that these people are going to District Thirteen. The only problem with that was District Thirteen was destroyed by the capitol A long time ago. On the news that the districts get, they often see footage of the Justice Building that was in District Thirteen. This was the only thing that they would show from District Thirteen and these people tell Katniss that it is the Same footage of The Justice Building over and over again. They know this because everytime in the footage you can see a MockingJay flying in the right corner of the screen. Katniss had never payed attention to it so she didnt know if it was true or not. She wanted it to be true. But she didnt know what this meant. She asked the people why they were telling her this and they suspect that the people from district Thirteen fled underground and they werent really killed at all./ They suspect that the capitol knows but they are not going to do anything about it. So they want to make the other districts think that everyone from District Thirteen was dead. So they do this by showing the same footage of the Justice Building over and over again. Katniss does not believe that this is true but she doesnt want to crush any hope that these people might have. Katniss gives these people all the food she has and then leaves to go back home. There is a huge fence that is to keep people from Katniss’ district to leave to go out in the woods and Katniss sees that there is electricity running through the fence so she is unable to get under the fence back into her dictrict. But if she gets caught she could be Killed. She walks about a mile beside the fence where she finds a tree that she can climb that will take her to the other side of the fence.. She climbs the true and sees that she is 20 feet up off the ground and that she could get hurt But she jumps anyway and lands on the other side of the fence she can tell she has broken something so she gets up and she thinks it was her ankle that was broken.. She is able to walk home and when she gets home there are peacekeepers at her doorstep..
That is where I stopped And now Julie has to go..

I’m still reading bone books b/c I can’t really think of any thing else to read. bone is just the only thing in my head i can think to read lately. Okay, tonight I’m going to make a prediction, and why. since i left off at book #3-in book #4 they will cross through Roque Ja’s mountain & get in trouble with rock jaw-a giant mountain lion that you hear “stories” about. (plus rock jaw & roque ja are really the same if you sound them out, they sound completely the same) Why? really if you must ask, the book is named rock jaw the roque ja mountains are their next destination, plus it gets talked about a lot in later books.

okay, for once in my entire blogging career, I will summarize. this “Extras” bone book that I have been reading. it’s basically a collection of stories, but I’ll only explain a shorter one It’s about a newborn baby blown by the wind out from his house onto a mountain only to meet “old man winter”. to start, the baby hits old man winter in the nose-old man winter throws baby at cave bear-baby makes bear skin out of bear- old man winter deathly suprised-then the baby comes home with a broken bone from the cave bear in his hand. (get the picture?) weird story huh?
