“brewster” – my “tough” book – or book i can brag about in adult conversations – b/c i totally have those – enjoyable read – the passages about running were outstanding – traditional adult fiction book with issues that would make not non-recommendable to YA – but i can’t fathom why kids would read outside of their target area anyway – but i really enjoyed the imagery in the book
“do life” – quick read – how a 360 pound guy lost 140 pounds, finished a marathon, and became a triathloner – there was a sad beginning – the kid knew he was overweight but it took a comment from the “cute” girl in fifth grade to destroy his self-confidence and spiral his life out of control – i could identify, in ways
“sure signs of crazy” – i actually would’ve liked this book better if it’d been about the title – about a girl trying to hold it together with a mom that’s been committed – but sadly, the book wasn’t anything like that – yucky BOB read
“counting by 7’s” – so i don’t know what book sarah is reading b/c 7’s took me a day – not nine weeks:) as for the review, i feel obligated to ruin it for sarah since she won’t read it – apparently – it was a decent enough book – to be technical, i had issues with the counselor – and the unlikely-ness that a genius would just fall through the cracks like that – but whatever, most books are about boys liking girls – or vice versa – so genius books are okay with me:)

This cartoon depicts Obama trying to change a flat which metaphorically is the ” Economy” with a box of nails or tax’s labeled “Tax”. This cartoon is going back to when Obama was elected and now. Obama came into Presidency when the Economy had hit a hard ship, but instead of making it better like he said he instead made it worse. This cartoon is short and to the point of which the artist wanted to make. Obama is also represented as being ignorant or stupid because of what he’s trying to do which in that proses will also make that situation worse. The cartoonist had a very good point and did so while not drawing anything that was not true.

I started reading this book named “Impossible” by Nancy Werlin but i havent read enough to do a dialectical journal yet so ill explain the book then do 3 quotes.
The book is about this girl who figures out that for the longest time all the women in her family have been cursed and the only way to stop the next generation of the family from getting it is the complete these impossible tasks and if you dont then you’ll go crazy once you have your child (that will be a girl)

Representative is a great honor that he really does deserve. The next thing she sees he is down in the garage putting a sign up in front o the best parking space that says, “RESERVED FOR BUILDING REP DELL DUKE UNIT 28”. she thought I guess that he does not get what being of service really means!

So Tigerclaw was doomed to fail and was driven out of the Clan and was forced as a rouge and that kind of stuff. But then, at the Gathering, no cat can belive their eyes, as the new leader of Shadowclan is… Tigerclaw! Fireheart is the new deputy, too, so he has concerns on what he’ll do to Shadowclan. Bluestar is having problems too, having withdraws of having to kick out Tigerstar.

anywho, i’m reading THE HERE AND NOW by Ann Brashares. it’s really good so far. i think it’s kind of comedic how they talk about 2010 like we talk about the 1980’s. so, Prenna runs into the old man from the A & P store who tells her of a murder that will happen May 16th. she still has not found out how the mysterious black numbers got on her arm, but she wonders if the number has anything to do with the old man and the mysterious murder. and to this point she has forgotten all about how she first met Ethan Jarves. she had teleported to the spot where he had been fishing earlier in the story, and he gave her his Giants hoodie. she forgets, and a couple of years later, she starts going to the same high school as Ethan. he remembers her vividly, but she forgets completely. one day, Ethan reminds her of her hoodie and tells her that they had met before. the hoodie could get her in trouble though, because the people who made the time travel immigration are only aloud to fall in love with and communicate with people from the community in which immigrated.
*phew*…that’s about all i’ve read, up until now.

Mallory is fixing snacks for her and her friends favorite tv show. Her friend wants her to hurry up so that she won’t miss fashion fran. Mallory rushes to the living room where the tv is. She got there just in time with the popcorn and drinks so the tv show just cut on. As usual fashion fran gets someone who doesn’t wear the popular clothes and makes that person wear popular clothes.

Mallory and her friend entered this contest on fashion fran. Then all the sudden her brother snatched the remote and they lost control. The tv said ” the moment we have been waiting for is here.” Max her brother changes the channel. So she snatches it back and changes it back. The contest was to design a piece of paper and send it to the address.

I was entering a contest at my grandmothers house. I had my pen and paper ready. Fashion fab had just turned on. She said ” all of y’all have been bugging me about this. So…” That is all she got in before it went to commercial. I said “darn it I was all ready now I have to wait 5 minuets?” That is when Adison walked in and changed the channel to some station I never have watched. I said ” give it back so I can watch fashion fab” so he gave it back and I got the contest.
I was at the fair when I saw my best friends. They were in line for the remix and so I got in line with them. They wouldn’t answer me. Like they were really mad. I said” are you two mad at me?” Jalyn and Cameron didn’t respond. Finally out of no where I heard jalyn say ” do we give up yet” and then Cameron said ” yes ” so they both flew up in space.

Watching the Pirates vs. Giants playoff game so………………
I turned running as fast as I could, some random stranger running also. It was not an even match. Me, some teenager who had just been in the wrong place at the wron gtime being blamed for a crime i had not commited. Against a man who was about 6’0 and had on a black suit. But i only had the nickname “FLASH” for one reason. I was fast. I mean so was the man in the suit. So i quickly darted through the woods used my jumping skills and easily climbed a tree. The man in the suit ran right past me. I waited for a minute until i heard my phone ring. I was blown! I jumped down and darted through lots of trees to try and lose him. I never looked back at him. I got to my school and hid in a place that i knew i could get in the school. I stayed till everything was clear. Then i found my bike and rode back home, my parents said someone ran from some cops and they lost him so i would have to stay at home for a while. I was fine with that.

Comment- This is kind of what it is like for all you 6th graders and all of us seventh graders and starting to change. Middle school is when everything hits. it’s like a slap in the face. I have a girlfriend and a few years ago i thought they had coodies. My reputation gets to start all over and you have tons of more responsibilities. It all change sin an instant

Willow goes around town taking samples of weeds and flowers, Her, Mia, and Dell come experts on trash cans, (Good for them?!) The black ones are for regular things. The green ones are for recycling. And the blue ones are for food and for plants!!! Willow says that she finds some things far from just wired in the blue ones.
Pattie puts her foot down, she wants no more boxes of “Waste” (what she called them”) in her apartment. So Quang-ha comes up with just, “Put them on the roof!” So they do but one day a man that lives in apartment 28 calls the workers and says there is a leak in his bathroom coming from the roof. So they men get a roofing worker to go give it a check. When the worker gets up there TO HIM there seems to be a bunch of garbage right where the leak was!
That is NOT all for today!

Response:
This line really is relative to real life in the sense that we often seem to have more time to think crucial decisions over after the fact. If we had the time to think decisions over when they were happening, I see many things changing in the world today. ‘Should I commit this crime? It may cost my freedom, but I would kill someone. I would be in jail for a while…maybe I shouldn’t.’ Simple thoughts like these can save lives and change our decision making dramatically.
That’s all im going to do for now.

Nancey Drew and her friends won a free cruise and got to stay in a suite. They were in line and one of Nancey’s friend had come back for Bess’s bags (one of Nancey’s friends). One of the workers asked James if he needed any help carrying Bess’s bags up to the suite he was staying in. James said “It’s quite alright sir”. He meant that he didn’t need any help with the bags.
Line: Something has happened
Commentary: Nancy heard a loud scream. Then, she looked around but she couldn’t tell who it was. Next, she heard another scream. This time she heard somebody say “help there is a bloody body in the pool”. That is all I read this week. I am excited to see what happens next.
Creative: I was walking to my grandma’s house when I heard weird noises. I ran inside my grandma’s house and locked the doors. I had just called her and she said that she was in the house making dinner. I looked out the window and all of the houses looked empty, there weren’t any cars, and there weren’t any people outside. Then, I called my grandma and she didn’t answer. Next, I went into the kichen and all the dishes were put away. I called my mom. She didn’t answer either. I looked outside again and it was dark. It was only 10:00 in the morning. I saw zombies, vampires, and monsters. I was so scared. Then when they were breaking into what I thought was my grandma’s house I woke up. And it was dark outside.
I just realized I did a dialectical when I needed to do a Creative.Guess I’ll just do 5 journals this week.

Then on his boat ride dolphins keep following him(instead of Sharks).He thinks this has something to do with the warning he got and the fact his dad just went on vacation(instead of died).But it all works out and he lives happily ever after.

Garadone explained,” You aren’t a dragon yet. This process is turning you slowly into a dragon. I’ve seen this a few times. Dragonologists use our DNA irresponsibly.” Just as She finished I cried out in pain. My eyes yellowed and widened. Then my tongue forked,looking like a snake. I fell to the ground in pain. The only thoughts left in my head were: eat,kill,destroy. EAT,KILL,DESTROY!!
I’m reading dolphintale2 it is a good book.

Commentary: this one sentence is so powerful. It can mean any thing. It could mean a race it could mean a test.

Commentary: that is a good thing to say if you were in a competition against someone. It would be a nice thing to do.
MY CREATIVE WILL BE ON A PEICE OF PAPER
I’m surrounded by hatered (*crawls back into corner and rocks back and forth in fetal position*)!! Anyways, today I’ll be talking about the age old compotition. And no, it’s not Mr.Grigsby’s first marching band compotition in the early Stone Age. It’s the sibling rivalry.
It happened at the baginning of time, in the book of Genesis, with the brothers Cain and Able (not sure in the spelling is correct). Cain believed that Able was more loved and favored more by God. He took action. Might have been a little extreme, unless you’re a honor-driven Clingon like lieut. Warf from “Star Trek Next Generation”, but it was an action against his brother regaurdless. He might have thought that if he was the only one, he’d be the only one TO favore.
The sibling rivalry comes up again with the story of Joseph, the one with a dozen brothers. But I’m not going in dept with that story. I’m jumping over to the 7th book in the “Cirque” series (not the one I’m on right now. I have book 8).
The 4th Prince (above Darren. The other Princes are Paris, Mika, and Arrow), the one only momentarily talked about [in book 5 and 6, plus parts of 4] before he’s introduced to the story in book 7, is named Vancha. The hardened Prince doesn’t were the kinds of robes the others do. We wears only what he can salvage and make from the skin of kills and corpses. He’s also on of the only vampires to stand directly in the and face the inferno rays. He is strictly “no comforts” as described in the books (only once did he sleep on anything remotely close to comfortable [a couch in Lady Ervvana’s cave] ).
On the last two or three chapters of the book, Vancha lets a vamaneeze go (along with the Lord of the Vampaneeze duiscized as a servant). The larger and older vampaneeze is actually his brother. PLOT TWIST!!!! Though his tears (vaampires, let alone Princes, NEVER cry. It’s incredibly unusual for them to become emotional), he told life story. He originally had been blooded by a vampaneeze with his brother and they served as assistances together until Vancha wanted to leave. He should have been killed, but his brother had saved him. Paris found him, heard him out, and blooded him into a Prince (only Princes, commonly two, could blood another vampire into a Prince).
The book foreshadows a future battle between the two but it’s unclear of who might win. Regaurdless, there will be more incounters. But not with Vancha by there sides. He had left to consult hith the other Princes at Vampire Mountain. Larten, Darren, and Harkat or off on there own and, as book 8 starts, are at Crepsley’s old home searching for the reported vampaneeze in the area. Along with the small hope of theirs to find the Lord there.
Wow, can I just say, what a week!!!! It all started off Monday with the fair, the One Direction concert Wednesday, and being elected Beta Club president. Honestly one of the best weeks I’ve had in awhile, which is saying a lot.
Addressing the Wednesday afternoon marching band practice- apparently I didn’t miss anything important- except the tenor sax section pretending to shoot each other with their mouthpieces, and all of the cliche rants from the senior members 🙂
I have good news as well! Starting next week my journal quality will increase due to the fact that we only have Thursday practices until the end of marching season. This is a huge weight being taken off my shoulders and it’s great. Of course, I will miss marching season, but I will miss it. 🙁
For my blog I think I’m going to answer one of the world famous Advisory prompts. I already answered one of them, and I think I’ll just answer the other.

Anyways right before the helo lands the afghan people begin to scream and the one beside him starts shouting Taliban and he sees lights on the hill and then the whole armada is realized against the Taliban and they are gone. They had machine guns, RPGs and they blew up practically half of the lower section of the mountain and later on they reported that their had been about 32 Taliban and al Qaeda deaths just in moment ps and then they got into the helicopter and flew to the base
